Sid and I pulled up to Hershey Park and I could already feel the excitement bubbling up inside of me.

"Come on Sid lets goooo!" I whined pulling on his arm trying to make him walk faster.

"I'm coming," Sid said laughing.

We got up to the ticket booth and Sid paid for both our tickets even though I offered to pay for mine.

"Where to first?" Sid said smiling.

"Can we get a picture," one of the employees that always stands at the front asked holding up a camera.

"Yes," Sid said before I could protest. I usually didn't like taking these kind of photos because they always cost a fortune to buy.

I wrapped my arm around Sid as he did his and I couldn't help the smile the came across my face.

"Thanks here's your ticket to purchase the photo and have a wonderful day," The employee said going to pester someone else.

"Lets go see the photo," Sid said dragging me to the photo kiosk. I smiled at the picture, but saw the price and quickly shook my head no.

"I bet we can take better photos on our phones that are also cheaper to print," Sid said before we left the kiosk.

"I want a picture in front of the Hershey sign," I told Sid handing him my phone. He quickly took a couple of me before I asked some lady nearby if she would take a picture of me.

"Come on Sid! I want a picture together," I said and watched as Sid handed both his phone and my phone to the lady. We took one picture with my arm wrapped around Sids waist and his arm around my shoulders and then one where I was on his back and we were both laughing.

"I like this one," I said referring to the picture of me on his back and both of us laughing.

"Me too," Sid said smiling brightly at me his brown eyes twinkling.

"Lets go get chocolate!" I said grabbing Sids hand and pulling him towards the store that sold all of the Hershey's products.

I grabbed a bag and pulled Sid towards the chocolate.

"You're such a kid," Sid said chuckling his hand not leaving mine as I stared up in amazement at the tons of candy around me.

"Can I get candy please?" I asked smiling brightly.

"Don't you want to wait until before we leave so it won't melt," Sid asked.

"Oh... that's a good idea," I said nodding my head and putting the bag that you put your candy in back.

Sid and I walked back out of the store are fingers still linked together. I couldn't help, but love the feeling of his hand in mine. Even if I knew Sid would never go for an ordinary girl like me it was great to be in this moment.

What roller coaster shall we ride first?" Sid asked smiling looking at the roller coasters that towered above us.

"Oh uh I don't know," I said shrugging and then pointing at a random one.

"Oh my gosh that was so fun," I exclaimed as we headed to the store to get candy and then go home.

"You don't need that much chocolate," sid said taking the fourth two pound bar from my hands and put it back on the shelf.

"Sid! I need that!" I whined sticking out my lip and pouting which before I knew what was happening Sid took a picture of me.

"Hey!" I complained as Sid stuck his phone back in his pocket.

Sid bought me two chocolate bars much to my annoyance. He wouldn't let me pay and I felt bad since he payed for everything.

"I had a lot of fun," I said smiling as we got in Sids car.

"I did to thanks for spending the day with me," Sid said smiling at me.

"Shouldn't I be the one thanking you since you invited me?" I said giggling and singing to the radio quietly.

I glanced over at Sid to see he was looking at me, but after I caught him he quickly turned his attention back to the road his cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

"Thanks for today sid," I said smiling brightly as I got out of his car at my house.

"You're welcome," Sid said smiling his brown eyes twinkling brightly.

I waved and headed into my house. I closed the door and leaned against it shutting my eyes. I unlocked my phone and smiled seeing the photo of Sid and I from earlier this morning. I quickly called Bella.

"What is it Jenn?" Bella asked sounding annoyed.

"It's not about work I promise," I said quickly.

"Oh okay what is it," Bella said much more relaxed.

"I have a crush on someone," I said quietly.

"Oh my god who!?" yelled Bella causing me to pull the phone away from my ear.

"Sidney Crosby," I mumbled.

"You have a crush on Sidney Fucking Crosby! He's like Pittsburgh's biggest bachelor out of every guy you could like you chose him! Jenn you're going to get hurt!" Bella said while I just rolled my eyes.

"Bella! it's a crush and we hung out all day today. Why can't I like him? He's something different," I said a little frustrated that my best friend wasn't being more supportive.

"I'm just saying be careful. I know he's not a fuckboy, but Jenn hockey's his life I highly doubt he would even think about a relationship," Bella said sincerely. I know she was looking out for me, but I thought she would be happier for me. She made a good point though he was big into hockey and nobody could change that.

"Okay I got to go," I mumbled hanging up.

I looked at the picture of Sid and I again. It was my home screen and my lock screen. We both looked so happy. Our eyes shined as bright as the sun above us. I don't think anything could ruin that moment. I know I had zero to no chance of getting with Sid, but if being friends was all we would ever be I would rather be that then nothing at all.
