"So what did you think?" I asked once the movie started.
"Why did he die! They were suppose to live happily ever after!" Sid said sadness shining in his eyes.
"Because the worlds not a wish granting factory," I said quoting Augustus from the movie.
"It's not fair," Sid said crossing his arms and pouting. I just giggled at Sid. I couldn't believe that the super tough hockey player was so upset over a movie.
"I know," I said patting his shoulder before getting up to get a drink of water.
"Where are you going?" Sid asked watching me.
"To get water. Want anything?" I asked giving him a small smile.
"Gatorade if you have any," Sid said smiling.
"Red or orange?" I asked as I walked into the kitchen.
"Orange!" Sid shouted back.
I grabbed a glass of water for myself and an orange Gatorade for Sid.
"Here you go Mr. Crosby," I say handing him his Gatorade.
"Don't call me that you'll make me feel old!" Sid said laughing.
"Well you are pretty old," I said giggling.
"Shut up I'm only a year older than you," Sid said sticking his tongue out at me.
"Oh I need your opinion on something!" I said quickly getting up and going into my room to grab my laptop to show Sid the prom flyer.
I came back downstairs and sat on the couch besides Sid and sat down beside him opening my laptop and pulling up the flyer.
"What do you think of this flyer?" I asked showing him.
"We are having a prom?" Sid asked confused.
"Yeah I remembered how you said that you didn't get to go to prom so I figured you should get to and I'm sure some of the other guys had to miss out on their prom to so I thought it would be nice if I gave you guys a prom," I said giving Sid a small smile.
"Wow that's super sweet," Sid said smiling brightly at me.
"I guess," I said being modest.
"So does everyone have to bring a date?" Sid asked curiousness shining in his bright brown eyes.
"I assume everyone will, but its not required," I said shrugging.
"I guess that means I've got to find someone to ask," Sid said looking like he had a plan.
"I suppose so," I said chuckling.
"Well it's getting late and I have practice early tomorrow so I should get going," Sid said standing up and stretching.
"True and I've got to go print these flyers tomorrow so I can hang them up," I said standing up to walk Sid to the door.
"Thanks for inviting me over to watch this movie with you," Sid said smiling as we got to the front door and he put on his coat and beanie.
"You're welcome. Thanks for coming," I said smiling.
Sid then shocked me by pulling me into his arms and giving me a right hug. Let me just tell you being in his arms felt amazing. He also smelled great which was always a plus. Sid and I were the same height, but I still felt safe and protected in his arms.
"See you tomorrow," Sid said before going out to his car and leaving. I waved and then softly shut the door taking a deep breath and then letting out an excited squeal. I can't believe Sid gave me a hug.
