I got up and threw on a pair of black slacks and a nice white button down blouse. I was meeting with some new clients today and I wanted to look nice. I was a wedding planner in the great city of Pittsburgh. I put on some black flats to match my outfit. I was 5'11 so I really didn't need help in the height department. I put on some light makeup to make my blue eyes pop. I curled my long blonde hair before smiling and then grabbing my bag. I stopped at Starbucks and got a coffee and a breakfasts sandwich. I then grabbed my brief case and unlocked my store and walked back into my office. My best friend and also receptionist/Co-owner walked in her name was Bella and she was gorgeous. she was about 5'8 and had naturally straight black hair and beautiful green eyes.

"Hey Bella," I said smiling.

"Hey girl. First appointment should be here in 20 minutes," she said smiling and sipping her coffee.

"Alright thanks!" I said smiling.

Bella and I opened this business right out of college and have been doing well for the 2 years we've had it. We both made very good money with this business. I was 25 and had my own house. It was fairly lonely though... being 25 and single sucks but, after my last relationship I want to wait for someone who's worth it.

I sat in my office and logged onto my computer getting ready for my meeting.

"Your clients are here," Bella said on the phone.

"Alright thanks. I'm coming right out," I told her smiling. I smiled to myself and then came out to the waiting area where I saw the two looking down at bridal magazines.

"Hello I'm Jenn," I said getting the couples attention. As soon as they looked up I recognized Marc-Andre Fleury from the pittsburgh penguins. My dad raised me a Penguins fan and Bella and I even played hockey at Penn state. Those were the days.

"I'm Marc and this is Veronique," he said in his French accent. I shook hands with both of them and lead them back to my office

After two hours we had decided on some things and set up time for another meeting. After the couple left Bella and I closed down to go get lunch.

"I can't believe you're planning Marc-Andre Fleurys wedding!" Bella said excited. We were both hockey fanatics so it was very exciting for the both of us.

"I know right! They're both really sweet," I said smiling taking a bite of my pasta.

"Maybe you can get yourself a hockey player," she said chuckling. When Bella and I were younger we would always talk about how we would marry a hockey player. Bella actually did marry a hockey player. She's married to Jayson Megna. They met in college and it was a cute ceremony. I wanted a love like theirs.

I sighed and tried to rid my head of the silly thoughts. I didn't need a guy to make me happy but, always hearing my family talk about how I'm still single hurts sometimes.

After a couple more meetings with a few other couples it was finally time to go home. I turned on the tv and threw on my Crosby jersey. It was time for some penguins hockey!
