Beside Still Waters....

After a few hours of sitting outside with Knox, I started to feel sleep calling my name. I laid back down at 3am and sleep for 3 hours, waking up again at 6:30. I jumped out of bed and ran to hopped in the shower.

After another hour I was walking out of my bedroom in a baggy knee link dress, with different colored butterflies around the bottom. I put on my light blue surplice neck bikini under neither my dress for the place I had today. Sliding on my Birkenstocks and giving myself a once over in the mirror. My hair was in two dutch braids, and I had no makeup on.

I grabbed my bag, and the folder with my article in it, walking out of my room and out the front door. Knox was still sleeping so I thought it was best to wake him up when I get back. I walked over to my bike and hop on it. Sliding my folder into my bag, to keep it safe. The only people at the house were James and Knox, probably both still sleeping. There were no cars parked out front of the house telling me, Lizzy left earlier to get caught up on the work she missed yesterday. Kayden, Malcolm and Bella were off to the school for the day.

I rode my bike down the street to the office. After a few minutes I was pulling into the parking lot. I lend my bike up against the blue jeep, and walked inside. I saw Lizzy busy talking on the phone and typing away at her desk. Something even I had to admit, that girl is one hard worker. Morgan was at the printer, she smiled at me and I waved at her.

I walked over to Ms. Grants office and walked in. The door was opened and she was sitting at her desk typing writing on some papers, probably making edits to things. I walked over and sat the folder on her desk. She looked up at me and then she looked at her phone to check the time.

"One hour and 12 mins before the deadline." She said, and then added a smile at the end. She opened the folder and nodded. "Okay I'm expecting the ideas for your next one by Thursday. No later."

I nodded and she added "Have fun with the next two days you have off. Also I didn't get you anything for tomorrow so don't expect anything." I let out a laugh, and nodded.

"Thank you Ms. Grant." I said and walked out of her office. I walked over to Lizzy's desk and kissed the top of her head. She didn't stop typing but turned and gave me a quick smile, then returned back to working. I grabbed the keys off her desk and she nodded, knowing that I was taking the Jeep for the day. I walked outside and put my bike in the back. Climbing in and driving home.

The ride back to the house was short, I put my bike back in it's spot. I then walked into the house and could hear the quick sounds of Knox's breathing. I walked over to the couch, finding Knox laying on his stomach. I decided the best course of action was to sit on top of him.

Knox lifted his head and looked over his shoulder to find me smiling down at him. "Time to get up sleeping beauty!" I say with a chuckle.

Knox dropped his head back down and let out a groaned in annoyance, making me laugh again.

I dropped down close to his face saying in his ear, "Come on, life is happening! Time to get up!" I jumped up off of him, and walked over to the kitchen. I start making some french toast, and after a while I feel Knox walk up behind me.

"Where's the bacon?" He said. I cringed at the idea of eating bacon again.

I shook my head and said "If you want it, then make it yourself." So he did. We ate breakfast, and I looked at the clock over the oven to see it's close to 9:30 now. I go sit on the couch and tell Knox "You can get ready in my room, also bring something to swim in."

I get a questioning look from him and I add "We are spending the day together, so just trust me." Knox nodded his head, and grabbed his stuff, going into my room and closing the door. I figured it would take him a while, so I walked outside to sit on the back porch. Part of me wanted to google Knox, but I knew it would only be fake news and didn't want to waste my time. Or even get caught by Knox.
