3.14.22- Smut Warning
Alright y'all! This is the second to last chapter! I will be posting the final chapter in roughly two hours, so stay tuned! I hope y'all are as excited as I am! As always, I hope you enjoy:)
The ceremony is beautiful, and I know for a fact that there's not a dry eye on our row. People stay around to mingle for a while longer, and I wonder what's next since the reception won't be for a few hours.
"Rylie," I bump her arm gently to get her attention. "I've never been to a real wedding like this... what do we do now?"
Rylie smiles warmly, and tries not to laugh. "There's a luncheon in a little bit, and then I was thinking we could go take a nap before the reception. How does that sound?"
"That sounds absolutely perfect." I grin and take her outstretched hand as she stands.
After another while of talking with people, the group begins making their way towards what I assume is the luncheon. We follow a small path through the trees, lined with little lanterns hanging from the branches, and finally exit the trees in front of a massive, beautiful stone mansion.
I had thought it couldn't get any more beautiful here, but I was wrong. A large, green lawn covered in cobblestone paths and stunning plants lead the way up to the mansion. The mansion itself is covered in green vines, giving it a cottage style vibe that I loved. It looked to have four stories, with large, elegant arched windows lining each floor.
We're led up the large steps onto a patio set with white tables and chairs. The tables are big enough that our whole group can sit together, and we choose the table closest to the large fountain in the middle of the patio.
Waiters and waitresses begin bringing out the platters of food and Rylie laughs when my stomach growls. "Did you eat breakfast?"
"No... I slept too long!"
"Oh, right. I guess I am a little hungry, but I can control my stomach sounds." She teases.
"Shut up." I laugh, lightly punching her shoulder.

When lunch is finished, we say goodbye to our friends before heading back to the car. We had three hours before the reception, and I was really looking forward to a nap. I take some quick pictures with my phone of the venue on the walk out, wanting to remember how beautiful it is here.
Once back in our hotel room, I hang up my dress and slip into a T-shirt before crawling into bed. Rylie joins me a moment later, and I hand her the small package before scooting closer to her side and threading my legs between hers.
"What's this?" She asks with a smile.
"Just one of your birthday presents. Open it." I grin. She obeys, carefully unwrapping the gift and opening the rectangle box.
"Oh, Aspen! These are precious!" Inside the box are several photos of Rylie and Harper. Cute little moments of the moments Rylie had with Harper. "Thank you." She whispers before setting the box aside and pulling me closer.
"You're welcome. Don't worry, I've got some other stuff for you, too." I assure her with a smile.
"I don't need anything else, love. I just need you. But thank you."
I wrap my arms around her waist and lay my head on her stomach, and she laughs. "Are you comfortable?
"Very. Are you?"
"Yes." She assures me, and I can already hear the sleepiness in her voice. I close my eyes and feel sleep come quickly, the way it always did when in Rylie's arms.
