Good news. I wasn't late! The teacher wasn't there, so it's a save, right?
I guess I'll just take a random seat.
I sat down, extremely awkwardly. Mainly because I don't have friends here.
Yet. I'm gonna befriend people for sure. Although.. I don't know what humans like exactly.
Some time passed and the teacher walked in.
After a short period of silence, the teacher spoke.
"Hello class. I'm Ms. Jean, your homeroom teacher. Another year huh.."
She paused, looked around, and continued.
"Some people might recognize some faces. But there's a new student from another school. Care to introduce yourself Venti?"
I looked up from my book(that I was totally not pretending to look at because I was awkward) and walked up from my seat to the front of the classroom.
"Hi, I'm Venti. I'm completely new to this school, and I want to make sure I have a good time with everyone!"
Ms. Jean smiled at me and looked towards the door.
"Sorry I'm late Ms!"
I took a glimpse through the corner of my eye to see who it was.
It was the guy from the front gates!
Ms. Jean chuckled.
"And Xiao, you'll be Venti's guide through the school."
Oh so his name is Xiao.
Wait. I spun my head towards his direction.
'Venti's guide through the school.'
Huh????
Xiao's pov
I have made no friends because I don't want to, I'm socially awkward, and I barely socialize, AND NOW I'M A GUIDE?? Out of all those people, Me?!
"Excuse me??"
The teacher smiled(evily).
"You heard me right! You guys will spend time together, looking around the school, and you'll help him with school buisness!"
Fuck Life.
