Xiao's pov

"Have a nice day!"

"Bye."

I walked inside my apartment, rode the elevator to our floor, walked inside our house, and threw my bag on the sofa.

"What a day."

"XIAOOO!!"

Oh fuck. I totally forgot about the wild Hutao.

"Xiaoo!!! You're home!!! Wait, where's Ganyu??"

"Shit.." I managed to murmur under my breath. It seems like I forgot all about my other sister also.

"Be right back."

"Ok!"

I ran outside our door, rode the elevator, ran outside our apartment, and ran all the way towards our school. How on earth could I forget about my own sister?!

In the middle of my trip to the school, I saw my sister walking towards me.

"XIAO! Where were you?? You didn't go home without me, did you? Oh wait, you don't have your backpack. That could only mean one thing..."

"Ok ok, I'm sorry. I went home without you. I apologize for doing that."

She smiled back at me.

"It's alright! You came back anyway. Don't do that again, though."

I sighed. She's way too nice sometimes.

"So.. why'd you leave me alone?"

Ugh.. do I really have to answer this one?

"I... Felt like it."

Ganyu frowned. "That's clearly not the reason. Were you sick and tired of waiting for me all the time?"

"Nonono, that's not it. I.." I sighed and continued. "I have a new friend, and I wanted to accompany him on his way back home that's all.." I sighed again.

"Ooh, a new friend!" She smiled at the news. "What is he like? Is he nice to you?"

"He's not all bad. He looks cute. He's actually really nice to me. But he's kinda strange, like he knows nothing about school. He did say that he was homeschooled, but.."

"Huh.. that does sound a bit odd."

I guess we talked for quite a long time, because before we knew it, we were back home.

Meanwhile, with Venti

3rd pov

Venti was exhausted. It was his actual first day of school, and holy shit, School work wasn't so friendly to the poor little archon. He was so confused on everything, and his questions about the school didn't pop out at the right time so he doesn't know much so far.

'Xiao did explain everything well,' he thought. But everything else was probably too much for him. He also didn't want to trouble Xiao.

Although it was only day 1 of meeting him, the god cared for him dearly. He seemed like a nice guy. But to Venti, Xiao felt like a person who needs help with social problems.

So, that's exactly what Venti decided to do for him.

How? Well, that's what he's going to find out.
