Xiao's pov

Even after introducing some of the most boring places, he still seemed interested. He also asked some weird questions like..

"What does a locker do?"
"How does passing period work?"
"What are the classes?"
"We have something called textbooks?? Hmm... What do they do??"

His eyes even shined brightly at the smallest things like lockers or classrooms.

Even random people in groups.

I tried my best to answer his stupid questions because I thought he was testing me or something but..

He knows absolutely nothing about school.

So I decided to ask.

"Hey, Are you homeschooled?"

He tilted his head.

"What's that"

.. Does he know ANYTHING AT ALL?!

"Where you go to school, but at home. Basically, your supervisors at home teaches you stuff you normally learn at school."

He looked down, his pointer finger on his chin.

After him thinking awhile, he lifted his head.

"Uuh... Y.. yea.. I think so..?"

That makes things a bit more easier to understand I guess.

Venti's pov

Homeschooled huh. I never knew such things existed. Although, I guess it is a good excuse for my poor knowledge on a school.

So I said yes at his question.

"Who teaches you? Your mom or dad?"

Darn it! I have neither!

"Um... Well..."

*Bell rings*

Thank the gods. I started hastily speaking.

"I.. it's the bell! That thing rings when class starts, right? So no time to chat then, c'mon! Let's go!!"

I grabbed his wrist and ran to a random direction, not knowing where I'm going.

I heard him sigh. He started to run past me, then he started dragging me.

Close one. Thank the school bell.
