"Derek, Derek..!" 5 year old Sorin called out his older brother with a such a cheerful voice. Sorin ran towards Derek with great happiness in his chest. Derek growled lowly in so much annoyance as he heard that voice. He looked back at his brother, glaring at him over his shoulder.

Sorin's little smile beamed very brightly, holding up his drawing to his brother widely.

"Look at what I drew for you and the other!"

Derek then locked his eyes on the boy's drawing, as he realized that it was a drawing of them in stick figures. All of his brothers were in bright colors and were on a sunny day at the park. Smiles were plastered in their faces but, they knew they were far from happy.

Derek's face turned into utter disgust before harshly grabbing the paper out of Sorin's hands. He then ripped it into God knows how many pieces before all of the pieces of paper are on the floor. Sorin's smile fell and sadness overtook his face. A frown was now plastered on the little boy's face. He looks at his brother with a heartbroken look before looking down the pieces of drawing on the floor.

"You always were a big mistake to this family. A retard and an abomination. Mother shouldn't have died to give birth to a wimpy mistake like you. It would've been better if she killed you from the start."

TIME TO WAKE UP, LITTLE SORIN.

I sat up quickly, breathing heavily, my chest going up and down quickly. My heartbeat was loud, my body even sweated from head to toe. I clenched on my lap as I remember that tiring and gloomy memory. The painful memories I wish to forget.

I slowly looked at my side, watching Charlie snoring and drool as much as he wanted. My breathing slowed down slowly before looking at my other side where the nightstand was. The bright numbers from the digital watch said 1:00 a.m. made me groan in exhaustion. I then rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms.

"I should just go back. They'd start beating me if they noticed I missed chores again..." I mumbled to myself quietly. I put away the covers then moved my legs to the side of the bed. Rubbing the hair out of my face, I went over Charlie's side of the bed. I shook his shoulder gently, trying to wake him up until he snorted. "Y-Yeah, I'm up. You going home now, sunny?" He said with a rough voice, his eyes barely open. "Go take one of my socks and shoes. Get home safely, okay..?"
