SORIN
It has been a month ever since I started living here again. Charlie had to go back home to California last 2 weeks ago because he missed it there. Of course I allowed him. He also has a life. I promised I would visit him soon.
As I stayed in the house I called a living hell, it quite changed... Derek, Ares and Damien changed. Well, except for Hayden. He was already nice to me.
It was a nice feeling. Them holding me at night, them being caring to me... Them loving me. It was what I have always wanted.
As I sat on the couch drawing, the doorbell rang. I got up, leaving my drawing notebook and pencil on the soft futon. I went to the front door, opening the door.
My breath hitches as I saw Silas with a bouquet of sunflowers. "Hey Sorin... I just wanted to say my farewells to you." Silas said in a hushed but audible voice as he looked at me.
He slowly gave the sunflower to me, my eyes still stuck on Silas'. "Why..?" I asked, my voice a bit shaky.
"Well, I realized my mistake and I just know I'll make the same thing again. So, I know I should stay away from you so I wouldn't hurt you again." He explained.
"But, I promise to visit you." Silas then slowly hugged me after telling me so, making me hug bag.
"Stay safe on your trip..." I whispered, feeling Silas' chuckle on my shoulder. "I will." He replied.
A FEW MOMENTS LATER.
I
waved Silas goodbye, watching him walk out from the gate. It was quite sad watching him leave. But, he did promise to visit so it'll be fine. I just hope he will be too.
Even though he left me when I needed him, I forgive him. I sighed as I went back to the couch, continuing on my sketch for 30 more minutes.
I placed my unfinished sketch down then that was when Damien went inside, his eyes glued to my eyes. "Hey Sorin." He said as he sat next to me.
"So, me and the others decided to have a nice dinner out. And we want you to come. Well, if you want to that is." Damien offered. I guess a family dinner would be nice.
"Sure, I'll go prepare my outfit for later." I replied, smiling at him. He smiled as well before giving my forehead a small peck before rushing back upstairs.
I could feel my cheeks turn pink and squealed quietly like a person being asked out by their crush.
I'm excited for later. We'll finally have a time to hangout which would be amazing.
7:00 P.M.
All of us sat on the chairs, the building filled with chill jazz music and chatters of people. As we all wait for our food, we all chatted about pointless things in life.
It was one of the best chats I had with my brothers. It made me feel happy and loved inside.
Our food arrived. The waiters placed the plates filled with our food on our mats, leaving us to eat in peace after doing so.
Mine was a normal spaghetti with small meat chunks cooked with the sauce. There was melted cheese on top too.
Derek and Ares had the same food, a grilled lobster claw and tail with diced and cooked onions on top.
Damien had a lamb with red wine demi under it as a sauce.
Hayden had honey glazed fried chicken with noodles.
The night was amazing. We laughed at cheesy jokes we made, we talked a lot. You know, things like those.
We finished eating and as we got up, we stumbled across Brian. The quarterback. "Sorin??" Brian said in shock, his jaw slightly open. "Bro, it's been so long!" He cheered before giving me a hug, not too tight.
"How have you been?" He asked with a big grin on his face. "I'm doing well! How about you?" I replied with a small smile on my face. "Well, I'm neutral! I'm married and my lovely wife gave birth to my first baby 2 months ago!" He smiled, saying those words with a proud voice.
"Wow, congratulations!" I said with a genuine smile at the lady with a baby in her arms who thanked me.
"Well, we have to go order some food. See ya soon, Sorin!" Brian waved him goodbye as he led his wife to an empty spot.
"I'm sorry for the hold up..." I said to my 4 brothers who just reassured me it wasn't a big deal.
We went inside the car and drove back to our house, it was silent and all but it was a comfy kind of silent.
And I know today was the best day.
