Camille's POV

Every single week, Sunday's were always the days I went grocery shopping. And that exactly what I was currently doing right now.

I got the usual things. Grapes, cheese, some freezer meals, and vegetables. I also got some things I didn't need as well like ice cream. As I was putting some things in my cart, I saw quite a familiar face.

"What a coincidence," Steve says as he came up to me

"Ha yeah," I laughed. "What are you doing getting groceries out here anyways? I thought you said you lived far away or something." I didn't want to come off noisy, but I was a curious person.

"I just think this is the best groceries store. I always come here." After he was done talking, Steve smiled at me. He seems to do that a lot.

I looked around the mediocre store and laughed. "You've got a weird taste."

"You could say that," he replied seriously. There was one thing I have picked up on about Steve. It's that he reacts to things more differently than most would. There is definitely more to him than what meets the eye.

"Oh! I was going to text you, but since you are here I might as well say it," spoke Steve. "I found a place to go tonight. It's a restaurant but I think you'll like it."

"What is it?"

"It is called Silver. It's an Italian restaurant so hopefully you like that kind of food."

"You're kidding! I love Italian don't worry," I laughed.

"Good," he said. "I was going to originally take you to a bar, but after knowing you work at one now, I assumed you wouldn't like that as much."

"Yeah it can get boring after awhile." How thoughtful. This man really does think about things before pursuing the action.

"Is six thirty an okay time?" He asked. I looked down at my watch as saw that it was already two o'clock.

"Shit yeah," I laughed. "I should probably go check out now and head home though so I have enough time to get ready and prepare for this date."

Steve stared at me with lust, "I think you look perfect as is right now."

"Hmm, I'm still going to get ready," I started to walk to the check out line with Steve by my side. "I want to feel pretty as well.

"You don't need it," he said taking my hand. I smiled how at our intertwined hands, and smiled back up as Steve. Before I could reply, the cashier woke me up out of my little daydream.

"Uh Miss? It's your turn," the young lady said.

"See you tonight then?"

"See you tonight." And with that Steve walked away leaving me in a haze. This man could really fuck me up, but he's so great that honestly, I'd probably let him.

"Sorry," I said to the cashier as I started putting my groceries on the conveyer belt.

"No worries," she said while checking out my groceries. "If I had a boyfriend like that, I would be obsessed with him too."

"Yeah he's.. something." I decided not to correct her. I mean I feel like me and Steve could be close to dating anyways. Plus I'm a little selfish and don't want people to know that he may be on the market.

After all my groceries were in bags, and paid, I brought them out to my car and drove to my apartment. Once I got to my apartment building, I took my groceries up to my apartment and signed in relief. One thing I hate about living in a big ass building. Is having to carry ever single thing up to my room.
