Camille's POV

"You had sex with him!?" Yelled Cara over the phone. I was sitting on my couch watching tv when she called me.

"Yes," I laughed. "Is that so hard to believe?"

"Yes actually. Usually it takes you awhile to hook up with someone. You never do it on the first date."

"Well technically, it was the second date. And it's not a hookup, we are kinda a thing now."

He called me his girl yesterday, which added a little bit of a label to whatever is going on. And when he left my house this morning, he called me his girl again. Which I can only assume means we are both off the market.

"I feel like this is happening way to fast," Cara sighed. "What's his Instagram so I can at least see what he looks like."

"He actually doesn't have an Instagram, or any social media for that matter."

Cara paused on the phone. I was about to ask her if she was still there, before she decided to speak up. "Are you dating an old man or something? That's creepy as hell."

"You were so into me that getting a man, and now what. You don't like it anymore?"

"Here's the thing Cam. I want what's best for you so I try to pick up on as many red flags as possible to protect you. Guys are assholes, you never know what they might do."

"Not having any social media is not a red flag," I stated. "Just let me enjoy this, and if it goes downhill, then that's my fault."

"Okay," Cara said drawing out the end of the word. "Do you at least have a picture of this man to send me?"

"No I do not," I laughed.

"So you are telling me, you have a hot guy, from what you are telling me, and you haven't snuck a photo of him yet?"

"I've been to caught up in the moment to even go on my phone when I'm with him."

"Damn, he's good at keeping a girl occupied then."

"I'm more ways then one." We both laugh at the statement.

I continued to talk to Cara over the phone for a good twenty minutes before we both hung up. At looked at the clock and saw that it was already eight in the evening. Damn I really haven't done shit today.

I turn off the tv and went into my bathroom to take a shower. Might as well make myself feel good and refreshed. As I was showering I heard my phone go off. I quickly washed the rest of the soap off my body before going to grab my phone.

"Hello?" I asked. I forgot to check the caller ID so I had no idea who I even picked up on.

"Cam hi," said the voice. "Hopefully I'm not interrupting something." I could recognize that voice from anywhere. Steve.

"Oh no you're not," I said putting the phone on speaker so I could dry myself off. "I was just taking a shower."

"Oh? A shower? Have any pictures?" He joked.

"Haha very funny," I said sarcastically. "If you want to see it you'll have to do it in person."

"Are you challenging me sweetheart?"

"Maybe," I teased.

"Challenge accepted." I smiled at my phone. I'm really smitten for this man.

I know things could go really badly, or they could go really well. I really like Steve though, like a lot, so I'll take the risk. For him I'd do anything.
