I wake up to the sound of beeping.
"Ugh. Stupid clock." I hit the alarm clock to make it stop beeping and turn to my other side and open my eyes to a smiling Tadashi.
"Good morning, Love."
I smile back at him.
"Good morning." my voice raspy from sleep, but also still from the smoke. I treated myself a bit too late for my throat to fully recover. But thankfully it does not hurt anymore.
I lean in to give Tadashi a kiss to the corner of his lips.
"Now tell me, Darling, why did I need the alarm on a saturday morning? Especially since you were already awake. I would much rather have woken up to you waking me up."
"I'm sorry Love, you just were so cute and after last night, I wanted to let you get all the rest you could."
I playfully hit his chest, remembering last night bringing heat to my cheeks.
"Oh, shush. Anyway, what do you want for breakfast?" I try to get up, but am yanked back and into Tadashi's chest as he kisses the top of my head.
After my lips, that has become his second most favourite place to kiss me.
"Don't worry about breakfast today, I already told aunt Cass we're going there to eat. She promised to reserve us a table."
I smile and kiss his lips.
"I love you."
"Did you just say that because I pretty much promised you some free food or do you actually mean that?"
I gasp at that.
"Who do you thing I am? Of course I meant because of the free food!"
Tadashi chuckles and pulls me even closer, planting kiss to my neck. So soft they tickle me.
"I surrender, I surrender! I love you! Not just because of the free food! Now have mercy on me." I shout through the giggles.
"Fine." he plants one last kiss to my lips before letting me go.
"I love you too, Love."
After that, we get ready and start heading towards the Lucky Cat Café to have some breakfast.
We walk side my side, holding hands.
Stepping into the café, aunt Cass immediately runs up to us and hugs the both of us tightly.
"Good morning you two! You must be hungry, this way. I reserved the best table to the two of you!" she's always so energetic it's contagious.
I make my way to take a seat, but Tadashi rushes past me, pulling back the chair. Obviously he wants me to sit on it, so I do and he pushes the chair towards the table.
"Such a gentleman, aren't you Darling." I grin up at him and he smiles back.
"Always, Love." he makes his way to the chair opposite of mine while aunt cass goes to prepare the breakfast Tadashi had pre-ordered.
"Hi Tadashi, hi Rose."
We turn to look at the person addressing us.
"Good morning Hiro, where are you off to?" I smile at the kid.
After the incident, it took a year for him to fully accept me back and forgive me. I'm just glad he doesn't hate me.
"Me and Gogo are going to try out her new bike!" he sounds so excited.
"Oh? Is it a date?" I can't help teasing the kid, he gets so flustered everytime.
It's very clear he developed a crush on her at some point.
