It was finally time for P.E. After changing into gym clothes, Ahsoka met up with her friends in the gym. It was pretty chaotic, with balls flying through the air and people running every which way. It was reminiscent of the school hallways in between class periods, Ahsoka realized.

"Who decided it was a good idea for the entire upper school to have gym class together?" Ahsoka asked, ducking a soccer ball.

Anakin shrugged. "I don't know, it's been like this since I got here."

"Let's go to the bleachers where it's calmer," Padmé suggested. As they headed towards the bleachers, Ahsoka caught sight of Ventress, who glared at her.

"Ventress is going to be a problem, isn't she?" Ahsoka asked once they were seated, sighing.

"I'm sorry you got dragged into this, Ahsoka," Padmé said. "She's always been jealous of me because of Anakin, and now she'll probably hold a grudge against you too, just because you're around him."

"Oh," Ahsoka sighed. "Sorry."

"Attention!" a voice called. Aayla Secura, the gym teacher, blew her whistle. The rest of the upper school quickly took seats on the bleachers.

"To start off the year, we'll begin with a game of dodgeball," she said. Ahsoka noted that she spoke with a French accent.

"Freshmen and Juniors, you'll play against the sophomores and seniors. Remember, if you get hit below the head, you are out. Headshots are not valid. If you catch a dodgeball, the person who threw it is out. One team member can come back into the game if someone on their team catches a ball. If someone manages to hit the basketball hoop, then their entire team is back in. Any questions?"

Ahsoka grinned. She wouldn't have to play against her friends. Not yet, anyway.

It would be fun to beat them, though, she thought.

The students gathered on their assigned sides of the gym. Coach Secura lined the dodgeballs up in the center of the gym.

"Students, take your places. Keep your foot against the wall until the whistle is blown, then run to the middle and grab as many dodgeballs as you can. If a ball moves to the other team's side, you cannot take it. Understand? Now, prepare yourself."

Ahsoka took a deep breath, focusing on the dodgeball she would grab.

When the whistle blew, she took off, using her small size to weave between her teammates. She had to get to the dodgeballs before the other team did.

Luckily, she made it to the line before anyone else. Grinning, Ahsoka grabbed the ball and threw it behind her. She made a grab for the one next to it, but someone else swiped it first.

Ahsoka knew who it was before looking up.

Ventress.

The older girl smirked, quickly backing up with her prize. Huffing, Ahsoka shot her a glare before grabbing the next dodgeball.

Once all the balls were with one of the teams, Coach Secura counted down.

"Three, two, one, begin!"

As soon as the coach gave the word, Ahsoka threw her dodgeball at the closest enemy, a tall girl with freckles and a headscarf. The girl dodged out of the way, throwing her own dodgeball at Ahsoka.

After dodging that, Ahsoka noticed another ball flying at her.

She jumped and caught it easily, sending its thrower to the bleachers, Riyo Chuchi.

"Careful, Ahsoka!" Anakin said suddenly, catching a ball that had been aimed at her head.

"Whoa, thanks, Skyguy," Ahsoka grinned at him.
