I finally had a burst of inspiration to write this chapter, so I hope I can start writing more frequently. I hope you enjoy!

After a relaxing study hall, Ahsoka and Padmé headed to the archery range. There was still no sign of Rex, so they both sat on a bench. Ahsoka quickly pulled out her phone and texted Rex to let him know that she and Padmé had arrived.

"Hope you weren't waiting too long," a voice said from behind us. Padmé gasped in surprise as they both turned around.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you," Rex said, wincing slightly.

Padmé sighed. "Don't do that, Rex."

Ahsoka didn't scare easily, but she didn't want to tell that to her friends.

"Ready to teach us some archery?" she asked.

"Yep, follow me."

Ahsoka's dizziness had mostly subsided, so she didn't have any problems standing up. She and Padmé followed behind Rex as he chose a bow and quiver. He stopped in front of a target.

"We can use this one. You ready, Padmé?" Rex asked.

"Maybe you should show us first," Padmé said.

Rex nodded. Drawing an arrow, he pulled back the string of the bow, knocked the arrow, and let it go. Ahsoka wasn't surprised to see him get a perfect bullseye.

"Cool!" Ahsoka exclaimed. "Can you teach me to do that?"

Rex laughed. "Maybe. Depends on how much you practice."

"Anakin told me you can shoot two arrows at once, is that true?" Padmé asked.

"On a good day," Rex said.

"Show us!" Ahsoka said excitedly.

Rex chuckled before drawing two more arrows and releasing them. Both hit the bullseye.

"Whoa," Padmé breathed.

"Can you teach me to do that?" Ahsoka repeated in awe.

Rex laughed again, along with Padmé.

"Ready to give it a try?" he asked, holding out his bow to Padmé.

She took the bow with a nod and took one of the arrows out of Rex's quiver.

To Ahsoka's surprise, she pulled back the bowstring and fired like a pro. And, she got a bullseye.

"Whoa, nice shot!" Ahsoka exclaimed.

"Beginner's luck," Padmé said humbly.

"She's just being humble, kid," Rex said. "You wanna give it a go?"

Ahsoka paused. "But Nurse Luminara said..."

"I won't say anything to her." He winked. "What do you say?"

"Okay," Ahsoka replied, taking the bow he offered. She'd used a bow a few times with her dad, so she knew the basics.

Despite her headache, she managed to get the arrow close to the bullseye, but it wasn't perfect.

"Not bad," Rex said. "Especially after a head injury."

"Thanks, but I know I can do better. Maybe--"

"Sorry to cut this short, but Obi-Wan told me to take Ahsoka home so she can get settled and rest," Anakin interrupted, having arrived at the archery range.

Ahsoka frowned. "What about track?"

Anakin shook his head. "Sorry, Snips, not today. Get your stuff and I'll meet you in the parking lot."
