They sat there, recalling other interactions between her parents. Prince laughed. "I love your parents. Too funny."
She nodded. "Natural comedians."
He sighed, a mischievous look in his eyes. "I shoulda told yo Mom that you tryna leave me."
She gasped. "You wouldn't. See that's why Jenny's boyfriend shot you."
He groaned. "Why you gotta bring them up?"
She chuckled. "Cuz I told you not to date her, but you did any way. Now you gotta scar from a bullet."
He sucked his teeth, reaching for his phone. "Man her pussy ass nigga really shot me tho. I should find him and shoot him."
"Nah that's dead. I like Cresskill. Just make better choices in your women."
"I did tho. I married you didn't I?"
"That's because we couldn't find anyone else who could deal wit you." She reminded laughing. "Im like the only woman, so far, that can stand you."
"Exactly. So stay." He sighed. "We been around each other for 8 years. That's way too long for you to just leave Mir."
She sighed. "Prince I know you. And I know how you are when there's an important job in front of you. You need all your focus on this job. Trust me when I say that this is best for you."
He sighed. "I understand that Mira. After this project, we'll call the lawyer and discuss it out. Or hopefully, you change your mind."
She chuckled. "You really want me to change my mind huh?"
"Hell yeah." He said making her giggle. "Im not bout to lie and say no."
"I appreciate the honesty then." She rolled over to her stomach.
He looked up from his phone, meeting her eyes. "Have I ever lied to you before?"
She thought to, digesting his question. She shook her head, coming to a conclusion. "Not yet."
He chuckled. "You countin' on it or somethin'?"
She smiled slyly, closing her eyes. "Maybe."
It became quiet, making her frown. Suddenly she felt someone lay on top of her, shooting her eyes open. "Prince!"
"What? You was lookin' comfortable as fuck."
"You weigh a fuckin' ton!" She twisted, making him land back on the bed. "What is your issue?"
He pulled her on top of him, their eyes meeting. "I just want to play."
She raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you okay?"
He nodded. "Im just takin' into account the little things, you feel me?"
"Yeah but Prince you makin' it seem like...well I don't even know."
"Trust me sweetheart when I say I'm just coolin'."
She nodded, laying on his chest, hearing his heartbeat. "So you stayin' because T-Bone wants me? Why is that a issue?"
He sighed. "Cuz he will do everythin' to get you. According to Smoke, he really got a thing for you and hates the ground I walk on cuz of it."
"Why does he want me?"
"Why does everyone want you? You Prince's girl, my right hand, etc. Others just want you to say that they can get you. T-Bone, however, wants you for you."
She shivered in disgust. "Ion like that."
"I know. If I knew this woulda happened, I woulda never put you in the spotlight."
