The door was wide open which only confused Prince more. He hopped out and made his way towards his house seeing that the door was blown open. This made him panic and run inside, dreading what he was going to see. "Mira!"
He raced upstairs, seeing bodies and burst open their bedroom door, seeing three more bodies. He stepped over them and went towards the bathroom. "Mira?!"
The empty spaces and lack of answer only frustrated him even more. He looked in both their closets and she still wasn't here. "Aye Prince!" He heard Layz call.
Feeling hopeful, he ran down the steps towards the living room to see Andrea, Olivia, Torie and Kenlee all bruised up. Dino hugged Andrea and held her as she cried. Smoke held Olivia as she did the same. Layz comforted Kenlee as she talked to him. Aaron was clutching onto Torie as she cried. He looked at Prince with sadness in his eyes. When Prince saw no sight of Mira, he knelt down before Torie. She made eye contact with him. She raised her head and wiped her eyes. When she did this, he noticed she had one arm wrapped. "Prince I-I'm so sorry."
He shook his head. "Nah you good. It seems like you guys were ambushed. Are you ok?"
She nodded and sniffed as Aaron rubbed her back. "It was so sudden. W-we was watchin' a movie and then the door bust open. M-mira and I made our way to the dining room and got the guns....she disappeared for a while, and I heard shootin' come from upstairs. I was then tackled by some guy but eventually got him off me. Kenlee had stabbed this guy who tried to grab her, so I shot him and then I heard her scream. We all booked it to the entrance, but we were grabbed. I escaped but then..." She sobbed. "They shot me and took her Prince."
Hearing that made him short of breath. He felt a heaviness in his heart, hearing that Mira was taken. He immediately started to get angry but had to calm down. He sat next to Torie, minding her arm, and rubbed her back. "Issok. You did your best."
She nodded. She then perked up. "Prince there's somethin' else you should know."
He nodded, indicating for her to continue. She then sighed as if she was nervous, which worried him. As far as he knew about Torie, she wasn't a person who was nervous easily. She looked at him. "She's pregnant. Mira's pregnant Prince."
He felt the whole world stop as the words left her lips. He froze and became unaware to everything around him. His body became numb as he processed what Torie just said. He arose from his spot, trying to control his shaking hands. He turned back to Torie. "W-what?"
"She's pregnant." She repeated.
His knees went weak under him, but he stayed upright surprisingly as she repeated it again. He began walking, hearing them call for him. He made his way upstairs and slammed his bedroom door. He paced, trying to make sense of what occurred in his house. Some dumbass niggas broke into MY home, took MY wife and injured MY crew. Not only that, my wife, the woman I love, is pregnant, he thought to himself. Being overwhelmed was an understatement at this moment.
"Fuck!" He yelled, picking up a lamp and throwing it. He breathed heavily and felt so weak. He slumped against the bed, sliding towards the floor, feeling tears come to his eyes. As they fell against his cheeks, he felt his heart clench in pain. "She's gone. She really gone." He sobbed out loud.
He sobbed and curled into the floor, feeling a state he hasn't felt since his childhood: loneliness. The one person he thought would always be by him until the end of time...was gone. He shook his head. "Mira Im so sorry I couldn't protect you. I failed you."
He banged his fist against the carpet, remembering the promise he made to always protect her, crumbling before him. He heard the door open but made no move to see who it was. He felt someone pick him up and place him on the bed, yet he made no move to stop. He finally looked up and saw that it was Aaron who had done so. He pulled Prince into a hug, and he didn't stop him. He welcomed it, the action taking away the lonely feeling temporarily. "She's gone A." He choked out.
