Wednesday

8:00 a.m. EST

Mira woke up to her alarm, reminding her of what today was. She sighed as she felt Prince shift beside her. She reached over and turned off the alarm, climbing out of her comfortable bed. She entered the bathroom, turning on the shower and going towards the sink. As she waited for the water to heat up, she began brushing her teeth, letting the calm feeling she woke up with come over her. To be honest, it was warranted to be scared. The outcome of this meeting will determine everyone's actions. She sighed and got on with her routine, trying to keep everything positive. On one hand, this could all go very smoothly: everyone gets their side listened to and things get resolved. On the other, these stubborn men could have already made up their minds and are just waiting for the right opportunity. With the way life goes, especially with Mira's case, it was likely going to be a mixture of both. She sighed, finishing up her shower and exiting to see Prince awake. He was on his phone, a rooted concentration on the screen. He heard her emerge from the bathroom, so he looked up and gave her a smile. "Mornin'."

She smiled back, heading towards the closet. "Mornin'."

Safely in her closet, she dropped her towel and began moisturizing herself. As she slipped her underwear, she looked through her dresses. When her hands were free, she shifted through her options before her. When she felt the familiar fabric, she took it off the rack. She slipped it on, it fitting well. She exited the closet and saw that Prince was on his phone. She paid him no mind and made her way to her vanity, looking through her options. As she looked through, she felt the need to keep it simple. So, she selected a gold necklace and some hoop earrings with diamonds on them. As she settled in front of her mirror, she looked over herself and smiled, satisfied with her appearance. She made her way to her nightstand, picked up her phone, and saw that she had an email from Kaila about the confirmation of the delivery. She opened her messages and saw that Torie had texted her, updating her on her arrival. She texted back a quick reply, wanting to make sure the house was good. From the corner of her eye, she saw Prince get up from the bed and making his way towards the bathroom. She made eye contact with him. "When you leavin'?"

He stopped and smiled. "Don't worry I aint leavin' you yet."

She sucked her teeth making him chuckle. "Whatever. You doin' too much."

"Sike nah. I'll be gone before Torie arrive."

A doorbell rang, making his eyes widened. Mira chuckled. "Yeah right."

He glared at her before going into the bathroom. She left the room and went towards the door, opening it and seeing Torie.

She hugged her. "Hey sis."

She squeezed her as well, making them both giggle. "Wassup?"

They pulled apart and went into the kitchen, discussing the meeting. "So we'll give introductions first and then let em stew in it a lil bit."

Torie nodded, sitting at the island while Mira leaned against the counter. "Right. Need to butter em up. Im goin' be honest, I dont want to kiss up to T-201." Torie frowned.

She chuckled. "Well lucky for you, you the lawyer so I'll be doin' the kissin' up. You can just sit there and look pretty."

She laughed and flipped her hair. "Girl please. You know Mateo Lopez goin' say somethin'."

"Thats cuz he respects you Torie." Mira laughed. "You the reason he got married."

Torie sucked her teeth, fighting a smile. "Thats cuz Carla wasn't wit the shits. She had heard some false ass rumors on homie so I had to vouch for him."
