*Corbyn POV*

"Cass, baby girl? Are you ready to go?" I tap on my bathroom door, seeing if Cassidy is ready to head down to the cemetery.

We spent all week planning for Cassidy's grandmothers funeral, it was full of tears and memories but I ended up getting everything Cass had wanted.

No churches, because none of my guys would be allowed in, but Cassidy didn't want that anyways. We're just having a small gathering at the cemetery, for Cassidy to share some stories about her grandmother and that's all.

We only sent out one invitation, to Calum, but haven't heard anything back, so I guess we'll see when we get there. The ladies at the care facility sent flowers and their deepest apologies that they couldn't attend the funeral but Cass understood.

It's been hard getting her to open up about anything that's happened in the last three weeks, but I've been trying. I've been thinking about setting her up with a therapist, she needs to talk about what happened, and if it's not with me, I'd rather it be a professional.

As I stand outside the bathroom door, a shooting pain spreads from my gunshot wound and rolls across my chest. I scrunch up my face as I place a hand under my suit jacket, to where the bullet went through.

I walk slowly over to my bed and sit down with a hiss of pain. This pain has been on and off all week. Jonah and Daniel both have told me that I need to go back to the hospital but I refuse, I can take the pain for now. The hardest part is hiding it from Cassidy. She doesn't need to know about what's going on, not with everything she's dealing with right now.

"You're making that face again" I look up from my lap, quickly moving my hands to my lap and I lose the expression on my face.

Cassidy stands in a long sleeve black dress, that goes down to her knees. The lace pattern rests above the silk fabric that clings to her skin. She's makeup free and her bangs are freshly cut, I know she cut them herself, but she did an impressive job at it.

Cassidy nervously bites onto her thumb nail as she takes a step closer to me in her small black heels. She was crying in the bathroom, her red, puffy eyes give it away.

"Are you ready to go?" My tone is light as I stand off the bed, making sure I give no indication of the pain that I'm in.

"Are you okay?" She shakes her head slightly as I step in front of her. I place my right hand on her cold, wet cheek and I place my lips lightly on her forehead.

"I'm good, are you?" I tilt her head up to look into my eyes. I watch as her emerald eyes fill with tears all over again. I know this won't be easy for her, but she's got all my support.

"I don't know" She whispers gently, and it was a dumb question to ask on my part. "Let's go, okay?"

"Okay, baby"

I made sure that the men in Indefinite that Cassidy knew would be here today for the funeral, mostly because I knew how heartbreaking it would be for her if no one showed up. So when we step out of the car at the cemetery, we're greeted by Jonah, Jack and Zach. Daniel stands a good distance away as he holds Edith's ashes.

"I'm so sorry for your loss" Jack whispers to Cassidy as he holds her tightly and too long for my liking.

As soon as Jack lets her go, Jonah hugs her lightly. I stand behind Cassidy as Daniel walks forward and I know he doesn't know his place here. Last time he spoke to Cassidy, he blew up and exposed himself for being a liar.

The sounds of a vehicle coming up the gravel road behind me seems to catch everyone's attention and I'm quick to spin my head. A large, black Ford F-150 pulls to a stop just behind my BMW and I know it's Dakota.
