*Cassidy POV*

"Okay Mr. Besson, we'll be right back to take you to the OR, okay?" A nurse quickly checks his vitals before leaving the room in a hurry.

It's surgery day, and by how tight I hold on to Corbyn's hand, as I sit in his hospital bed with him, it's easy to tell how nervous I am.

Corbyn is all prepared and ready to go, he's in a light blue hospital gown, that I feel like I've seen him in too many times and a little blue hat to keep his hair out of the way.

Six of us pile in to his tiny room as everyone made a promise that they'd be here when he goes in and will be here when he comes out. Although, I don't believe they all know how scared he is, I do believe that they want him to know he'll always have their full support.

Jack and Zach giggle lightly amongst themselves on the sofa, while Daniel leans against the wall by the bathroom, texting out what must be an intense text message, by the look on his face. Jonah stepped out for a second to call Devonie and to get himself a coffee from the hospital's cafeteria.

"This is stupid, you can go home and get some rest, baby." Corbyn smiles but he squeezes my hand, as if silently begging me to stay.

"I'm not going anywhere." I smile lightly in response.

It's just coming up to six in the morning, when the surgery is supposed to begin. They already gave Corbyn a few sedatives to keep himself calm, since he tried swinging at a nurse last time he was here, they're taking precautions.

"Are you ready?" I whisper as I scoot myself closer to Corbyn in his bed.

"Yeah, I'm ready." He smiles weakly at me, giving my hand another squeeze, letting me know the real answer.

It's hard seeing someone you love, go through something that they find so terrifying.

"You guys really don't have to stay, the whole time." Corbyn mumbles loudly, which sends everyone to their feet.

"Come on, man, we aren't leaving you!" Jack smiles

"Someone's gotta keep Cassidy company, so she's not having an anxiety attack the whole time." I turn my head slightly towards the right, to see Jonah with a tray of coffees and a small smile.

Jonah and Corbyn, this week have been sneaking off, for hours at a time. Corbyn will be gone when I wake up, leaving me to unpack the final boxes in our new condo, and coming back home when I'm just getting in to bed. Corbyn hasn't given me much details about what's going on, besides that it's a surprise.

Corbyn knows how much I don't like surprises but he always just kisses my cheek and tells me not to worry.

I'm always worrying.

"He's not wrong." I giggle lightly to ease the tension but Corbyn's grip only grows tighter on my hand.

"I'm going to be fine!" I don't know if he's telling me, or himself.

A small knock comes through the door and Jonah quickly moves himself away, and places the tray of coffee on one of the small tables beside the couch. The young nurse that was in before, comes in with two doctors and another nurse.

"Are you ready, Mr. Besson?" Doctor Lockman, the gentleman doing the surgery asks, as nurses go on either side of the bed to pull him out of the room.

"Jonah?" Corbyn motions Jonah over and he comes quickly over.

Jonah leans down towards Corbyn and he mumbles something lowly in his ear. Jonah nods, taking a step back.

"I got you, man. Don't worry."
