I Miss You

Months have passed and Andrew and I have both been so busy we haven't gotten to see each other when he's been home I've been somewhere else and the same for me. When the article came out with people asking if we're more than friends we kinda laughed it off but I think deep down we were both wondering if it's true and neither of us want to admit it to the other. I'm on a press tour for a new movie with Luke Bracey and we're in LA. We're sitting down for interviews all day "Hi Luke Aurora how are you both" the interviewer asks "Good" I say "Great thank you" he says "Aurora I have to say I love your style I saw your Cosmopolitan interview and you looked amazing" they say "Thank you. I've been lucky to find a stylist who understands the things I like and knows I like a bold makeup look at times to compliment what I wear or if the makeup is bold to keep the outfit more tame" I say "You shot this film in North Carolina was that a fun experience for you both" they say "I spent alot of time growing up by the sea I was born in a seaside town so North Carolina reminded me of home where we were shooting" I say "Same for me Australia is full of beaches so being able to go for a swim or a surf during our free time was amazing" he says "You tried to teach me to surf and we discovered how uncoordinated I am and how bad my balance is" I say "I have vowed to make her a surfer one day" he says "Don't hold out hope for that happening" I say "Their are some steamy scenes in this movie and you guys had never met before shooting was their any awkwardness" they say "We met a few days before we started shooting and we hung out so we'd have that sense of familiarity our characters have but those kind of scenes are always awkward because not only are they with someone you barely know but also in front of an entire production team" he says "I'd never done scenes like that on camera until recently you know we don't do that in the theatre and like Luke said you can't be embarrassed too much because your doing it in front of alot of people but I think we did a pretty good job" I say

"What drew you both to the project?" they ask "As actors we want to go for roles that help us grow as actors and step out of our comfort zones but for me at least this story was so beautiful I knew I wanted to be apart of it as soon as I got the script and I fought to be apart of it" he says "I'm still new to this whole industry of film and I've had alot of people reaching out to me with roles but when I'm choosing what I'm gonna do next whether it's a musical, a play,a magazine shoot or a film I have to feel that pull towards it even if people end up hating it I know I loved every second of it" I say "Tell people why they should go see this movie" they say "Its a love story there's drama but it's a really beautiful story we've both enjoyed telling and we had alot of fun shooting it" he says "Same as Luke I've met some incredible people doing this film who I'd love to work with again and I've been pushed out of my comfort zone again and you can see how much dedication we put into this movie if you go watch it" I say "Thank you for sitting down with me" they say "Thank you" I say and we continue our day of interviews.

It's the next morning and I'm up about to head to breakfast when Andrew calls "Hi stranger" I say "Hi" he says "How's Taiwan?" I ask "Amazing but the time difference has taken some adjustment I haven't woken you have I" he says "I'm in LA and heading down for breakfast before more press" I say "I forgot you were on a press tour" he says "Just a few more days and then I'm home and your mum is having me and my dad over for Sunday dinner" I say "God I miss her cooking" he says "I'll send you photos" I say "Do. I miss you" he says and the words just hang there for a moment before I respond "I miss you too I mean you did abandon me to deal with all the questions about our relationship" I say "I apologise your not used to all the rumors yet and I should of addressed it somehow" he says "Its fine people are now shipping me with Luke so they've forgotten about me and you for now" I say "He is a handsome guy and the accent" he says and I laugh "He's not my type and even if he were he's more like a brother which is weird considering we shot a sex scene together" I say "I'm back in a few weeks and I'm free for awhile so I think we deserve a little break how do you feel about a holiday" he says "Somewhere sunny I hope" I say "Of course a holiday where we don't have to worry about work and we can just relax and spend some time together" he says "Sounds perfect" I say "Good I'll book somewhere in the few days and let you know" he says "Okay I'll see you soon" I say "Yes you will" he says and hangs up.
