"You..." Mr Stotch muttered. Kenny smiled "Good job." He whispered, before stepping forward. "It's over. Put down the gun." Kenny said. "You did this, didn't you?" Mr Stotch said, stepping forward. "What?" Kenny asked. "You little bitch!!!" Mr Stotch yelled, grabbing Kenny's parka and lifting him up. Kenny's breath hitched, him struggling to get free. "I'll kill you for corrupting my son!!" He yelled. Kenny flinched, looking over at Leo. But, to his surprise, Leo was gone...

Kenny's heart sank, but he couldn't blame him, his dad was crazy. Mr Stotch threw Kenny onto the concrete, Kenny cried out in pain. Mr Stotch dug his shoe into Kenny's chest and pointed the shotgun at his forehead. "You will regret the day your family messed with ours!! You will regret the day when-"

"Stop right there!!" A voice yelled, blue and red lights flashing. Both of their heads turned to see Leo, with the cops!

Officers arrested Mr Stotch as he shouted obscenities at Kenny and Linda Stotch was taken in for questioning. Meanwhile, Kenny was sitting on the edge of a stretcher, waiting to be wheeled into the ambulance. "I'm sorry again for leaving ya." Leo said, standing in front of the taller teen. Kenny shook his head "Nah, you had to. I don't blame you. That was smart. And I know if you said anything you'd blow your cover. Using me as a distraction was a good idea." He said. Leo frowned "You're not just a distraction..." The shorter said, taking Kenny's hands and kissing his cheek. "Then what am I?" He asked. Leo smiled "You're my Kenny. And I couldn't ask for anything more." Kenny blushed and gave his signature grin, leaning down and placing a kiss on Leo's forehead. Leo giggled "But.. I have to ask, where are gonna go?" Kenny asked. Leo paused and thought for a moment. "I don't.. know." He said slowly. Kenny sighed "I'd offer up my place, but I think you know how that would end." He said, chuckling slightly. Leo smiled "Yeah.."

"I know where you can stay." A voice said.

The pair turned their head to see Tolkien! "Tolkien!" Kenny said, smiling brightly. Tolkien returned the smile "You can stay at my place, Butters. My parents won't mind." He said. Leo's eyes lit up "Really? Oh boy! Thanks Tolkien! I just need to get a few things from my room and I'll be right there!" Leo said happily, running into his house again. Tolkien smiled and looked over at Kenny, observing the bandages. "What happened to you?" He asked. Kenny shrugged and then winced, regretting his decision "Just a scratch" he said with a wink. "If I were you I'd be questioning this entire situation. Why're you out here?" Kenny asked. Tolkien shrugged "I heard the cars and sirens go past my house and I got curious." He replied. Kenny chuckled "You weren't worried about your parents killing you?" He asked. "What they don't know can't hurt them" Tolkien replied smiling. Kenny chuckled "Rebel."

Kenny pushed along the shopping cart, browsing the isles of the local supermarket. He looked down at his list. He had crossed most of it off, the last thing he needed was all the way across the store. He sighed, beginning to walk. It had been about a week since Leo's parents were arrested. The police questioned Stephen Stotch and after court, threw him in jail. Linda Stotch however, was a different story. She had been questioned and had eventually cracked and the police found out that she was also part of the abuse, but had been abused herself by Stephen. She didn't get as much time as Stephen, but they both weren't allowed to care for Leo anymore, and that was what mattered. Leo was taken in and welcomed by Tolkien's family and was cared for properly.

But he was rambling. The reason he went shopping properly for once is because Kevin was coming to visit. Yay..

To be honest, Kenny was happy to see his brother but the last time they had interacted was on pretty bad terms. They were arguing about money problems and their parents and it got a little out of hand. He was just a little nervous was all. Oh well, it an opportunity to smooth things over he guessed.

Kenny paid and walked out of the store, sighing at his now empty wallet. He carried the heavy bags back home, fumbling with his keys. It was a Saturday morning, and Kevin was gonna arrive in half an hour. Kenny set the bags down on the dining table, unloading everything and putting what he got in their respective places. He smiled proudly until he heard the front door click open. He looked over, confused. That couldn't be Kevin, so who..?

Oh.

Them.

His parents walked through the door frame, slamming it behind them. Karen tore around the corner "Mom! Dad! You're home!" She said happily. His mom gave a tired smile and hugged her briefly. His father completely ignored her and walked towards Kenny. He honestly didn't know how that girl still loved them. She had a good heart.

Kenny sighed. "Hey dad." He said. His father looked at the empty shopping bags and full cabinets. "You went shopping..?" He asked. Kenny nodded "..Yes?" His father huffed "Good job.. You're earning money still?" He said. Kenny knew where this was going "No. I'm not. My friends just helped me out." He lied. His dad scoffed "Knew it." He said walking away. "Why're you two back anyway?" He asked. "Well, Kevin is coming back, so we thought we could have a family movie night! Just like old days." His mom said. Kenny frowned "...Sure."

Eventually, time passed and they heard the door click open. Kevin walked through the door and shut it behind him. "Huh, house still looks like shit. Hey everyone." He said. Karen ran towards him and hugged his legs "Kevin!! I missed you!!" She said. Kevin smiled and ruffled her hair before looking up at Kenny as he walked around the corner. He offered a small wave and Kenny returned it. Kevin still looked the same. Still the brown hair, same eyes (well duh), a little taller though. He was wearing a baggy hoodie with boring jeans on, quite plain if you asked anybody else. "Hey, Ken." Kevin said. Kenny chuckled "Hey Kev." He said, walking forwards and picking Karen up, joining the sibling hug with her.

They pulled back and Kenny let Karen down, her racing into her room to grab the drawings she made of all of them. Kenny smiled "Been awhile, huh?" Kevin nodded "Yeah definitely. Hey is my room still up?" He asked. Kenny shrugged "Well, we kinda made it fully hers, but we kept your bed if you ever did come back." "Cool. Thanks, little brother~" Kevin said teasingly. Kenny cringed as Kevin walked around the corner "Ugh, don't say it like thattttt.... eww!" He said, giggling. Kevin came back and laughed "Well it's true." "I wish it wasn't.." "What was that?!" Kevin asked, feigning shock. Kenny laughed "Noooo! I'm sorry!" He said, chuckling. "Well, no matter age, at least we're a family again." Kevin said. Karen ran back around and fumbled with her drawings. "Yeah. We are, huh." Kenny replied.
