Kenny let out a sigh "Alright, who was it?" He asked. His friends all gave confused expressions. Kenny's expression turned to realisation "Oh! I should probably give some context first." He said. "Something happened last night. I was out late and these weird people tried to kidnap me. Luckily though, I got away thanks to Stan, Kyle, and Leo. And when that's when Karen got involved. I'm okay with everything else, but when it involves Karen, I'm going to have a problem. I looked everything that happened up on google and I couldn't find anything for hours. I searched and searched and eventually I found a super out of the way website that said that the people I saw were a Cuthulu worshipping cult who were trying to find people that have been-and I quote-"Touched by the great lord Cuthulu". It also detailed how they were out for blood, and would stop at nothing to find the people that've been "touched". I don't know if any of thats true, but all of the facts seemed to line up, so I'm going to trust it for now." He explained. They were still at Tolkien's house. Kenny had called all of them here to discuss an unnamed issue related to the thing he had told them yesterday."I'm not mad. Truly, I'm not. I just wanna know. Who snitched? Who told this cult about me?" Kenny asked. " I know it wasn't Stan, or Kyle. And it definitely wasn't Leo. So..."
The 9 friends all looked around the room at each other. Eventually, Kyle spoke up. "With all due respect, why're we even asking this question, Kenny?" He said "We all know who it is already." Kenny raised an eyebrow "What do you mea.." he trailed off. Kyle shot a glare towards Cartman. "You know." He said, his voice wavering in anger. "It's so obviously Cartman. He's the only one who could've betrayed your trust like that." Kyle said. Cartman's expression fell immediately. "Hey! I would never do that to Kenny!" He said, sounding genuine for just a moment. Kyle rolled his eyes "Oh, come on." "You're only blaming me because you don't like me, Kahl! It's not me!" Cartman said. "Guys, I think-" Kenny began speaking but was quickly cut off "Are you kidding?! Who else in this room would ever do that to Kenny, huh? Who could it possibly be if not you?" Kyle asked, raising his voice slightly. Cartman remained silent for a moment. Kenny took this as his chance to get a word in. "Kyle, listen. Let me reiterate this- I'm not angry. So please don't be angry on my behalf." He said. Kyle huffed our a breath before mumbling out something along the lines of "okay". "Now..." Kenny took a pause. "I see what you're saying, Kyle. But.. I don't suspect Cartman." Kyle's head jerked up "What?!-" "For the same reason that I don't suspect you and Stan, if we're not counting you guys saving me. Cartman is one of my long time best friends, and.. despite his past, uh.. eh- actions. I still trust him." Kenny said. "And plus, he has nothing to gain by telling people about me. As much as he's the obvious choice, I don't think he's the traitor."
Kyle sighed "Fine. But only because you think so." Kenny smiled "Thanks." He turned back to face the group "Right... Now for the even harder question. Who was it?" He asked. After a moment of silence and tense glances Kenny knew that they weren't going to get anywhere today. "Alright. I can tell we're not going to get anywhere. It's okay. It's getting late anyway. How about all of you head home and sleep on it huh?" The friends nodded in agreement. Kenny stood up, as did everyone else. One by one, they filed out of the door, saying their goodbyes.
After saying his goodbyes to Leo and Tolkien, Kenny hugged Karen and headed towards the exit. "Wait!" She said. Kenny turned "Where are you going?" Karen asked. "Home." Kenny replied "And I'm not coming?"
Kenny sighed "It's not safe for you." "And it is for you?" Karen asked. Kenny was slightly taken a back. "Please stay." She said. "I don't want you hurt." "Karebear, if I don't go back I'll be in even more trouble. Mom and dad are gonna wonder where I am." He said. "And they won't wonder where I am?" She asked. Kenny sighed and ruffled her hair. "I've got you covered." He said, flashing his signature grin. Karen sighed "Just... come back safe." She said. "Promise." He said.
And with that, he left Tolkien's house

Kenny sighed, he couldn't believe this shit. A fucking cult?? Really universe? What was this backwards karma?
Though he supposed it was better that cursing somebody else to live like this. He looked up into the night sky, a few stars glimmerring, almost looking back. Kenny stopped for a moment and simply watched the stars dance along the night sky, he watched them twinkle and shine at him. It was mesmerising. Every time he ever looked at the sky it always encapsulated him in its beauty and endlessness. He couldn't really explain it in words.
However, he quickly returned to his senses and began his walk again. Getting jumped for the second time didn't sound all that appealing. Time always seemed to move slower on these walks of his. But maybe that was just another of mother natures tricks. He always had a strange fascination with the passage of time, always wanting to figure out how it worked, admittedly the passion had died down over the years, but it still intrigued him slightly. He was always fascinated with things like that.
After a while of walking back and being a little more cautious of his surroundings than usual, a familiar voice called out to him.
"Hey! Wait up!" Kenny turned around.
"Um... I need to tell you something. Can you follow me?" Kenny paused, a little startled.
What the hell...?
