NO-ONE'S POV
Tenzin walks into the brutalised City Hall, once a symbol of justice now devastated. Equalist gloves, masks, and equipment all over the scene as the airbending master walks past the photographer examining the pieces. That's not important right now.
No.
Korra and Y/N were taken.
That was all Tenzin was told when he got the phone call earlier this morning. He has to know what happened here.
The airbender reaches near the end of the room, where sitting on the steps to the council table is a wounded Councilman Tarrlok talking to Chief Saikhan, his eyes full of pain and guilt.
"What happened?" Tenzin urgently asks Tarrlok, "What were Korra and Y/N doing in City Hall?"
Tarrlok rises up, and gives him a look of regret. "As I told Chief Saikhan, Korra and Y/N came to my office late last night. They were upset that I arrested their friends. They asked me to release them, and that's when the Equalists attacked. I tried to protect Korra and Y/N, but we were outnumbered. Then I was electrocuted. When I came to, the police had arrived, but Korra and Y/N were gone. I'm so sorry."
The waterbender turns to the Chief of Police and hardens his gaze. "Chief Saikhan, mobilise the entire police force. We have to find the Avatar and the Chi-Blocker."
It doesn't take long for the news to catch hold on what just occurred. Radios and newspapers everywhere alert the citizens of Republic City of the disappearances of the two heroes.
"We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast to bring you this special report. Late last night, Equalists attacked City Hall subduing Councilman Tarrlok and capturing Avatar Korra and Chi-Blocker Y/N..."
Now, in the early morning of Republic City, everyone has the same question.
Where are Avatar Korra and Chi-Blocker Y/N?
MEANWHILE
Y/N'S POV
I don't know how long we've been in this metal box for. A few hours maybe? All I know is that we are in some abandoned house, spirits know far away from Republic City in the cold. Is this Tarrlok's house? Whatever it is, I don't see how we're gonna get out of here.
I'm currently slumped down on the floor, watching in despair as Korra keeps trying to knock the metal door open and calling out for help.
"SOMEBODY! HELP! PLEASE!" my best friend desperately calls out...but receives no answer.
I sigh in defeat. "Korra, no-one's coming. We are in the middle of nowhere. Just save your breath."
My best friend collapses onto the floor in exhaustion. Because of the small area of the box we are very close to each other. I would be blushing if it wasn't for the situation.
After thirty seconds of panting, Korra finally speaks up. "I just...I don't understand. How is Tarrlok capable of bloodbending without a full moon?"
I frown in concentration. Yeah, how is that possible? I thought bloodbending can only be done under a full moon? Maybe there was more to it than we all thought.
"I don't know." I finally respond.
Korra sighs, and we both go into a deep, long silence.
After five or ten minutes though, an idea pops into my head.
"Wait a minute, didn't you tell Tenzin and I that you've been having hallucinations?"
My best friend stares at me curiously. "Yeah...but, like I said, I can hardly remember them."
