Y/N'S POV

It's been a few of hours since that incident with the Avatar statue. I've been thinking about it non-stop since then and I have no doubt Jinora can't stop thinking about it either. During breakfast my mind was filled with questions.

Why did that "force" lead us to the statue room?

Who was that old Avatar?

What was that spirity kite behind him?

Why did that statue glow?

How are Jinora and I connected to all of this?

At the moment I'm currently waiting outside of the temple for Tenzin to show up. He told me he will meet me outside in a few minutes as he has to do some stuff first. I'm still thinking about what happened.

"Hello, Y/N. We are ready."

The voice snaps me out of my thoughts, as I turn to my left to see Tenzin with a smile on his face.

"Great." I simply respond, flashing him a smile of my own , and we begin walking to a peaceful spot in the temple grounds. There is no-one else in this area, it's just us. Perfect. That means there will be no distractions.

We get into our normal meditative positions as we always do before the session starts.

"Now, before we begin, I need to make myself clear." Tenzin starts, his eyes staring right into mine. "Just because we are at a spiritual location it does not mean you will receive another vision on your first try meditating here. Do you understand?"

I nod at the airbender's words. "I completely understand, Tenzin."

The son of Aang nods back and closes his eyes. "Excellent. Let's begin. Clear your mind of any distractions. Let them all flow out of your mind like a river."

I take a deep, long, breath and close my eyes. I empty my mind of all the questions, all the confusion, everything. They flow out of the river and I am now at peace.

Tenzin and I stay in these positions for who knows how long. We are perfectly silent, our minds completely empty. After some time, though, nothing has happened. No vision, no voice, nothing. I know what my mentor said but this is frustrating.

After nothing happens for a good portion of time, I decide to end it. I sigh and reopen my eyes to look at Tenzin again, his eyes still closed.

"I'm sorry." I speak up, glancing downwards, "I know what you said and everything, but I'm still getting nothing."

The master airbender reopens his eyes and looks at me, his gaze sympathetic. "It's all right. I can understand how this is frustrating for you. Maybe we should take a break."

I take a deep breathe and nod. "Okay. I just don't get why I have been receiving nothing these past six months."

Tenzin strokes his beard, deep in thought. "Visions can happen at any time and for any reason. Perhaps it was due to your situation. You and Korra were kidnapped by Tarrlok. Perhaps the intensity of the circumstance triggered your particular vision. Remind me again what else happened when you were kidnapped?

I frown slightly in concentration in an attempt to remember all the details. "Well, Korra and I were locked in this metal box. It was cramped, so her and I were really close to each other. Korra was having a vision of her own to try and figure out what Aang was telling her. I decided to mediate myself to calm my own mind and then all of a sudden I had the vision."

I decided not to tell Tenzin about me confessing my feelings to Korra. There is no way we are having that conversation. There is no way anyone is going to find that out. Not yet anyway.
