Jameel's point of view.

I haven't been to where I was driving to and well I kinda had this date planned. I just wanted an alone time with Areezah. I don't know when or how I was going to tell her that I like her but starting off like this is great right?

Even as she sat Inches from me starring out of the window while the cool breeze of the night fans her skin, I didn't know what she was thinking and thought it would be a terrible idea to ask her if she wanted somewhere specific to go to.

She clutched the purse in her hand like her life depended on it, I was driving but I didn't miss out on every of her actions.

I cleared my voice and started. "Uhm So...where do you think we should go?"
My heart beats erratically by the minute and I can't even fathom the reason why I'm being nervous around her.

"Thought we were going to watch a movie..." She said smoothly after some minutes. Well of course I knew we were going to watch a movie but just because I wanted to talk to you that was why I asked.

Shet!

"Right." I said Instead. "What type of movie would you like then," I pressed on. I just kinda wanted her to keep talking. Am I even normal.

"I think I'm okay with whatever comes up, I watch every type and genre of movies." She looked over at me even though now I wasn't looking at her but I could see it from my peripheral vision.

I nodded my head. "Aminah told me you love kdramas." I turned the steering as we swerved to the right of a road that leads to the cinema.

"Kdrama seems to be it for me when it comes to movies, but I wouldn't say I don't watch other movies apart from it." She said simply and I nodded.

The rest of the drive was full of awkward glances and sheepish smiles which left me dumbstruck.

.

We arrived at the movie theatre in no time and we were already settled inside. A nice movie was displayed on the big screen while I was beside Areezah starring at her for the whole of the time. I didn't even know what the Film was about but I could list all the possible features of Areezahs Face with the amount of time I have spent on looking at her.

She became conscious at some point but who wouldn't? I am behaving like some sort of love struck puppy who can't help himself.

And yes she finished three bowls of popcorn and Ice creams.

The movie finally ended and Areezah ended up crying. Why? Because according to her it was sad and stuffs like that. Honestly I cared less about the movie , for the whole of the time I was interested in staring at her instead.

By the time we walked out of the cinema it was after 12 in the morning. We dropped by in a grocery shop and bought delicacies and stuffs like that.

"Why don't we play a question and answer game?" She said as we drive back home.

"Sure." I replied.

"How many girls have you dated?" She blurted and I laughed in Instinct. "Woah, that was so out of the blue. Is someone jealous?" I said playfully earning a glare from Areezah.

I mean there are several questions she could have asked but chose not to.

"But to answer your question, I think only one." I answered truthfully.

"Only? You added only like it isn't a big deal? Who's she by the way?" She questions almost in annoyance. This was nothing but funny.

"Someone who you don't want to know of, its all in the past now anyway." I said not wanting to dwell on the topic. I looked over at her and she knitted her eyebrows in confusion.

"I definitely want to know," she said defiantly.

"No you don't." I countered.

"Psssh Jameel I want to know about her."

If looks could kill, I'd be dead right at that moment.

Right before I could say anything the car screeches and it came to an abrupt stop jerking both of us.

Huh?

What could be wrong. I step down from the car and checked to see that we got a flat tire. Great.

And I didn't even have a spare tire. Super great.

Areezah also stepped down from the car after some minutes. "What's wrong?"

"Well we've got a flat tire," I sighed and she did a kitty face which made me laugh. "What happened?"

"Well I'm so sleepy, I was about to fall asleep in the car." She said as she yawned.

"I think it's just a thirty minutes walk from here, we could walk home right?"

She sighed and nodded in response. "What about the car and the stuffs we bought?"

"Tomorrow morning I'll fix it..." I told her in response.

We started walking side by side along the narrow road that leads to our house. "Why don't we continue our game, I think its my turn." I took her silence as a response. "What's your favorite colour."

She rolled her eyes at my question but still replied. "It has to be red."

"Why red? Most of the girls love black, pink and all those girly colours." I questioned.

"It's supposed to be one question for each person but imma answer you. I don't know why I like red, but anything red is exceptional, mighty and quite different from other colours. There's more to it but this is how much I can let on."

I hummed in response. This lady is a puzzle, hard one might I add.

"Your turn." I say as we take another route to our home.

"Do I look unattractive?" She asked. Looking over at me. My heart skipped for the hundredth time and I'm left flustered.

"To be very honest, you could never be unattractive to me. You don't even try but you always look good, your eyes, lips, nose, chin and every part of you is beautiful. Even your hands are beautiful." I took her hand in Instinct and she looked down.

I stopped walking and then faced her. "Why are you looking down?"

"You're saying things I have never heard from a man, I just want to bury myself underneath the ground." I laughed.

"I'm not even joking Ree," I say as I hold her chin up realizing I'm still holding her hands.

"You never cared about how others see you? Why all of a sudden?" I asked. Curiosity got the better of me.

"I don't know why all of a sudden I want to know how you see me and I kinda want to look good for you even."

My heart was doing a happy dance right at that moment and I did something which left both of us in a trance.

I hugged Areezah.
