•"Me I rove the way you arranged the table oo, in fact the guests will faint when they tasting your food." Inna compliments, I felt relieved as she did so. I was looking for someone to check or grade what I have done because I was nervous that something might go wrong. I wouldn't want those coming to feel dissapointed with the food. My mum was busy in the study room so I couldn't go to her and even she wasn't, she wouldn't entertain me anyways.
"Thank you Inna, you're a mind reader."I said truthfully, I had promised to started teaching her when I am back from school tomorrow. I'll just have to take one hour away from my napping period. So far, she has been good and I like her. She is modest and clean in her affairs and she also say the truth. It's only Aminah who hasn't gotten comfortable with Inna.
"Maddam let me go and change outing of this smerring cloth." Inna gestured to her mid length gown.
I nodded, "Let me take you to your room where you'll be staying." I say as she followed in tow.
"How old are you Inna?" I asked, she looks pretty young and I was curious to find out her real age.
She scratches the back of her head. "me is 18. I'm not sure because my father tolding me he's not sure." She replied back as we climb up the stairs to her supposed room.
"So you have a boyfriend?" I didn't know why I was asking a lot of questions. I felt comfortable with her and it gives me joy to be able to speak out what was in my mind.
"We are getting marriage next year when I finish working with you people. I only come here to gather money for my wedding." I was sad. A lot of people in this world do one thing or the other to meet up with daily expenses of life. Here we are with luxurious things that you'd think maybe that's how everyone is living life. Until you see the poorest of poors would you know that Allah is great.
This same people also live life like we do. They fall in love, give birth. The only difference is that they trust Allah that surely the next meal will be provided by him and with so much patience sabr Ya Allah doesn't let them down.
We here don't think about how we are going to cater for the next meal, we think about unnecessary things which might even lead to sinning against Allah. May Allah grant us understanding.
"Everything will be okay. You'll get married with your husband and live life." I said, not knowing what I'd say.
"Insha Allah." she uttered as I opened the door to the last Maid's room that ran away. Although her stuffs were still here but I asked Ikhsaan and Aminah to clean up the room for Inna. Aminah didn't let me hear the end of it though.
"This is your room, feel comfortable and ask if you need anything." I welcomed smiling genuinely.
"Kai big room likedis, but maddam I never bring my bag from the gate." she say.
I face palmed. "why would you leave your bag at the gate? Anyways freshen up I will ask Ikhsaan to get it for you."
"Maddam you should go and freshing up too!" She announced happily and I laughed before leaving her room.
I found a suitable outfit to where at least to impress the guests. Not like I cared but I thought of looking presentable. I matched downstairs just as the door bell ring.
I gave myself a prep talk on how I should be myself no matter what happens.
Immediately the door was opened, I was engulfed in a hug that I thought my lungs will be hard to function for three days. I could have guessed that it was Hannan but the heavy perfume that destroyed my nose was not related to Hannan.
