Book 3 Chapter 21 (Laying to rest)

A/N - Hi soo... Bad news... You may not get a upload next week, I have been busy with University work and I have a busy week of University work ahead of me. So this book may not be uploaded for a little while... So I apologise about that.
Also, I've been thinking about introducing some minor changes to some characters already in the story. Not rewriting anyone mind you. I'll give a example to give you an idea:
- I was thinking of Haruka getting a whip as her weapon, on top of her drone.
Really some small changes like that to some characters. And they would all be tied into the story.
I was also thinking of adding the current Shinobi's to the Ninja art book, mainly to give everyone one or 2 new ninja arts.

Beachfront

You were stood perplexed at the figure just in front of you, she had a intense aura... But she seemed almost playful, or Naïve. Though that mask wasn't tricking you. It was almost like she was acting innocent to lower your guard not to dissimilar to what Haruka does to her opponents.

Y/N - "Toki...? Should I know who you are?"

Toki - "Nope! Nope! Nope! It doesn't matter! I just wanted to see you for myself. And my are you a sight to behold."

Hiyori - "As I stated before, Miss Toki here is the ancestor of Hibari. And she represents the most powerful form her Kagan can take."

Toki - "And I must say, when I saw you use the stolen Kagan art on Orochi to attack the Yoma. I was inspired!"

Y/N - "Thanks? But why'd you really want to say Hi?"

Toki - "Hee hee hee! I wanted to judge your strength!"

Y/N - "Sor-"

As soon as Toki said this she summoned a Katana seemingly out of nowhere and slashed at you, giving you barley any time to dodge, you narrowly avoided loosing your head. She followed this attack by a quick barrage of slashes that were too fast for you too see so instead you used petrification to shield yourself. When you shattered out you switched to your Shadow Yoma art and used the copy of yourself as to fight back. You can't match her speed so you can use this to try to keep up. Toki blocked each strike effortlessly however, even when you used Chrono-stasis. She was just able to move fast enough. Toki suddenly ducked under one of your strikes and balanced one her free hand then slammed both of her feet into your gut, launching you back. When you hit the floor you rolled to the side and shot Toki in the gut with Overkill, this caught her by surprise so you summoned Murasaki's axe and smashed it into her. Toki recovered fast however and quickly dashed at you, where you dove backwards, when you dodged back she chuckled and looked into your eyes, you felt a strange painful feeling ripple through your body, but you simply drew guillotine and charged Toki. She was dumbfounded by this predictable move for some reason, resulting in Toki being unable to dodge your strike that hit her into the ground. She slashed at your leg then dashed back, sheathing her Katana. 

Toki - "My! You can still control your own movements! I'm impressed!"

Hiyori - "Incredible..."

Y/N - "What?! We done now?!"

Toki - "Indeed, I have confirmed my speculation... To think you can resist Kagan... Could it be due to you possessing Kagan too? Hmm... I do not know."

Y/N - "That's it?"

Toki - "Indeed. We will be able to fight more later. But for now you had best get stronger! I will not loose next time."
