I stand there frozen for a minute before I recover. "Let's go inside I don't need there to be talk about why I have you on my front porch," I say softly. "I promise to make this quick and to not bother you at home again unless you call upon me." He swears and I nod allowing him permission into my house. "Okay well, I figured you alright met with Elena and made a deal with her that you would protect us all but you left her out of it," I say as I set my bag down on the couch. I pour a glass of wine for myself and a glass for Elijah pricking my finger and allowing some blood to drip into the glass. I hold it out to Elijah and he takes it looking at me surprised. "Yes I did, why do you ask about that deal?" He questions. I smile softly and take a sip of my wine, "Well I have a better deal for you I know you want to get rid of Klaus so if you promise that Elena will be protected I will find a way to kill Klaus for you. Even if I have to put my own life on the line." I state setting my glass on the coffee table in front of me. "Are you sure about this Nyx? You would die for your sister?" he asks I smile and shrug. "I made a promise to protect her no matter what," I tell him he nods and shakes my hand. "I give you my word that Elena will not come to harm from me or anyone in relation to my cause." He swears and I nod my head gently. "Thank you, Elijah," I tell him before he takes his leave.

I wake up to getting a text from Elena asking if I could go and cover for her at the school BBQ because she was watching Rose with Damon and I agreed. I smile as I get out of my car and see Caroline and Tyler talking I'm glad she is helping him through this. I go and start helping people hand out trays of food and Tyler comes over and starts to help me. "I see you and Caroline are becoming friends should I break out the band that you are finally getting off of your high horse?" I ask with a small smirk. He laughs and playfully pokes my side. "I'm not that bad," he says causing me to give him a look. "Surreee," I say. Tyler swallows gently and looks at me. "Caroline says that you are like us kinda but different what does she mean by that," he whispers in my ear. This causes me to freeze and nearly drop the plates. I look around and grab his arm pulling him away. We round the corner of the school and I look around making sure no one is around us. "You can not just come out talking about the supernatural out in the open are you crazy?" I ask him. He looks at me like a kicked puppy, "I'm sorry, I'm still new to this." He tells me and I shake my head gently. "It's okay, just you have to be careful there is a reason why there are only a few of us," I explain to him. "So are you a werewolf or a vampire?" he questions me, I smile and look around making sure no one is watching and I take his hands. "Be quiet and just watch," I instruct. He nods and I close my eyes chanting gently and around us, it started to snow then I used the with to pick it up so it doesn't stick to the ground. I open my eyes as the snow becomes water and falls all around us. "I'm neither Tyler. I'm a witch."

Night has fallen and I meet up with Damon and Sheriff Forbes and see that there is a body who is the victim of a vampire. I go with her to check the west while Damon and Elena check the east side. I get a text from Elena saying that they found Rose. An hour or so later Damon calls the Sheriff and lets her know about the vampire he killed. I hold back a few silent tears for Rose before I leave and head home. When I get there I go into my art studio and start working on a painting of a vision I had Elijah and his siblings all standing dressed in very fine clothes while on a staircase an older woman loomed over them from the top of the staircase. I tried to press more into the vision but I could only see so much. I sigh and shake off the uneasy feeling and go to answer the knock at my door I look through the peephole gripping the dagger in my hand tightly. I fling open the door and press the tip of the blade to the person's throat "John I told you to never come here again." I growl he holds up his hands in mock surrender, "What I can't come and check on my daughter?" he asks. I glare at him and walk him off of my porch. "Not when she is oh so ready to kill you for what you have done," I growl at him before slamming the door in his face. I lock the door and shoot a text to Elena and the boys letting them know that John is back in town. I clean up my paint supplies and grab a grimoire Elijah gifted me and crawl into bed as I read about these mystical daggers used to "kill" an original.
