Kol's POV

I carry Nyx's body out of the cemetery not bothering to listen to the protests of my mother. I didn't know when or how, but I knew I was going to kill her for this. I bring Nyx to the compound and I place her on our bed gently. I slowly clean away the blood before changing her dress to one of her favorites. I feel my eyes fill with tears again when I notice the ring she had on a chain around her neck. I pick it up gently and I feel my heart break seeing it is the ring I got made to propose to her with. "I'm so sorry my love," I whisper to her quietly. I cry while repeating over and over to her how sorry I was. I heard my phone going off and I look at it angrily, I slowly lean over and pick it up. I see Davina's name flash on the screen I look between it and Nyx's body. Something told me that I need to protect Davina... for Nyx. I kiss the forehead of the love of my life one more time before I answered the phone and went to find Davina.

I was in the middle of checking on Davina when Klaus walked up to me after moving Mikael to the car. "You've got a way with words." He comments and I nod my head. "Well, I've traveled," I say simply before standing and walking over to Klaus so we can speak face-to-face. "You seem to have crossed continents to order to weasel your way into Davina's good graces, thereby meddling in my family business." He tells me before he smiles at me. "Strange, isn't it?" He asks me and I smirk softly but, not saying anything. which seems to confirm Klaus' suspicions of me. "Unless it's your family business. You know, ever since my mother and Finn, I was wondering when you might make an appearance, Kol." He tells me and I let out a broken laugh before bowing to him slightly dramatically. "Then the jig is up!" I say and I smile lightly as Klaus smiles as though he is genuinely pleased to see me. "Hello, brother!" I tell him and he walks over to me. "It's not that I begrudge you hitching a ride back to the land of the living. It's just that you're making all the wrong friends, brother. And, I have half a mind to show you how wrong you are." He tells me and I give him a sad look. "I was just trying to get back to her Nik..." I tell him honestly. He looks at me and his smile slides from his lips. "She's really gone?" He asks me and I nod my head and feel my eyes burn with tears again. "She's gone and it's my fault," I tell him as my voice cracks. Klaus pulls me into a tight hug. I freeze not expecting this, Nik and I had always had a strained relationship. I allow myself to break down into his arms. Klaus just holds me tight in his arms. "We will avenge her Kol. I promise you this but, you have to work with us," he tells me and I nod my head before straightening up Klaus grabs the back of my neck and we put our foreheads together. A silent promise to avenge Nyx. I turn to Davina's limp body and slowly pick her up.  We head outside and stop seeing the state of the SUV and the lack of Davina and Klaus' friend Cami. "Mikael is going to use her to bait you," I tell him as I see Klaus' anger rising. "I still have to find her Kol, it's my fault she's in this situation at all. " He says before looking back at me and Davina's unconscious body. "Find a way to wake her up and trap Mikael again." He instructs me before disappearing into the forest. I head back into the cabin and set her on the bed to help her be comfortable. I bit my lip nervously as I look at Davina, 'If Nyx was here she would take charge and come up with a plan to take out Mikael. ' I think to myself as I try to shake Davina awake.

Cami's POV

I struggle against Mikael as he drags me away from the cabin through the woods near the Bayou. My heart hammering in my chest terrified as I tried to stay strong. "Klaus will find you!" I shout at him while I struggle and he smirks darkly. "Oh, he will. But, I will be ready." He tells me and I look at him confused and horrified, "How? I've seen the kind of pain that blade causes." I tell him talking about the blade Klaus stabbed into his chest. "I have fought more pain than anyone, living or dead." He tells me as he clutches Papa Tunde's blade in one hand, "But, once I feed, I shall be restored." He tells me. The feeling of fright fills my body and I try to run, but he keeps my arm in his grip and he sighs impatiently. "Not you." He tells me while holding the blade against my neck. "You, my dear, are leverage. Once I threaten to dismember you in front of him, Klaus will hesitate. And, in that moment of weakness, I shall end him." He explains to me and I shake my head furiously. "This is crazy! The two of you, going round and round trying to kill each other? You're obsessing over the death of someone whose fatal flaw is that he was fathered by another guy!" I shout at him and I could feel the anger radiating off of him. "Hush! You are the enabler of the weak! No wonder he seeks your company." He shouted to me enraged. Mikael pauses walking, he doesn't let me go. "I hear music. And, where there's music, there's food." He says happily and I look at him horrified. He drags me farther through the woods, where we come upon a group of several dozen people, all of whom are wearing various Halloween masks and partying around a large bonfire. Mikael grabs me by the head and forces me to look at them. A felt a small tear slide down my cheek as I take the scene of unsuspecting people in front of me. "Well, well, well, well... What have we here?" Mikael asks before he pauses, and he smiles. "Hillbilly Halloween. Oh, perfect." He says before dragging me towards the crowd as I struggle against him. I silently prayed that someone, anyone, would find me before there was too much death.
