Klaus' POV
I stood in the streets of the French Quarter listening to Cami's conversation. "Davina? Davina?" She calls into the phone. She sighs and checks her phone to see that the call has disconnected. Behind her, I stand a smirk dancing across my lips. "Well, that was rather rude!" I comment. Cami turns quickly and gapes at me in shock. "Well, it's a pleasure to see you, too, Camille!" I say strolling closer to her. Cami glares at me slightly, "Don't...Don't do that crooked-smile thing, okay? I haven't seen you for months, and now you're... appearing out of the blue? What do you want?" She questions me and I smirk leaning closer to her. "Well, I have a rather long list of people I need to track down and deal with, and at the top of that list is a certain runaway witch," I tell her in a calm and collected tone. Cami stares me down unwavering, "Maybe she doesn't want to be found." She tells me and I sigh softly. "And for good reason. Had I magically resurrected the insane, vampire-hunting father of my sworn enemy, I'd be hiding too!" I tell her in a low growl as we walk through the streets Cami stops and she turns to me stunned. "Wait, what?" She asks me and I turn to her with raised eyebrows.
"Oh, haven't you heard? Mikael the Destroyer, back from the dead. And, by all accounts, under the complete control of your little friend, Davina." I explain to her as she looks me in the eyes. "Well, you heard her, clearly. She didn't say where she was!" She says to me with worry filling her voice. "Oh, on the contrary, love. You just had to know how to listen. For instance, I heard cicadas, and I heard tans, but the real giveaway was the church bells. Did you know Davina's family owns a little cabin in Terrebonne Parish? It's been abandoned for years! But, a brief glimpse at a map showed it's just a mile from the loveliest little chapel." I explain to her pointing in the general direction of the cabin.
She looks from me to the direction I am pointing before sighing. "So, what's the plan?" Cami asks me. I give her a crooked smile, "Well, the way I see it if Davina wants to use Mikael to kill me, we just have two options. One, you reason with her. Two? Well, I don't think you'd like two very much." I tell her. Cami grows quiet before she considers this for a moment. "Fine. Let's go." She says and I smile as we begin to walk down the street and head off to Davina's cabin.
I sat with Camilla in a pub a short drive away from Davina's family cabin when suddenly a burst of magical energy passes over me. "Kol." I hear Nyx's voice fill my ears. I look around with wide eyes, "No." I mumble softly and Cami looks at me with wide eyes. "Klaus that was-" She starts before I nod my head. "Nyx," I mumble softly before leaving quickly.Elijah's POV
Marcel, Josh, Gia, Hayley, and I are in Marcel's loft waiting to meet up with Oliver and the other werewolf when a ripple of energy shakes the building causing us to grip on to the table in front of us. Hayley nearly falls before I catch her in my arms holding her close. "What is that?" She asks me and I shake my head gently, "I'm not sure." I tell her quietly. All of a sudden the glass in the windows cracks loudly making a spiderweb design. a familiar female voice saying only one word, "Kol." rings loudly through my ears but in a quiet whisper near that of a whimper. "Nyx?" Marcel asks me as Hayley covers her mouth in horror. I look at the window before walking over to them my hand reaching up to touch the cracks as my eyes glaze over with tears. "She's gone. They killed her." I say before turning around in anger. "They kidnapped her and then killed her," I growl before hearing the doors open downstairs.
