GINGER STOOD STILL FINALLY GETTING A PROPER OBSERVATION OF THE HOME. She could feel the dark magic within the walls beginning to reach out to suffocate her, the cobwebs presenting themselves as if they were new decorum, the gas lamps that went down the long hall. In all indifference, Ginger could sense how charming it was attempting to be with the warm lighting and would applaud it for its attempt. She always found new places charming with the right people around so Grimmauld Place was just right.

Fred disappeared then appeared in a moment's time, Ginger's trunk now being gone. "Had to take that up real quick so I could see Mum's reaction to meeting you." And then it hit Ginger. She was meeting their mother. A shiver of fear flashed down her spine when she realized what she was wearing isn't completely what she would want to wear to meet someone's family.

A light gray button-up was clad on her body beneath a light blue argyle sweater vest over it. Though it hadn't been practical for the weather, she wore a matching blue skirt with gray socks trailing up to her thighs. Per usual, she had her favorite pair of Mary Janes on her feet and her hair was up in two loose buns at the bottom of her head. Her gifted bracelet from Lee jangled around her wrist while her necklace with two rings hung around her neck as she never took it off. The entire outfit was perfect to meet someone's family but Ginger couldn't help but feel self-conscious about her clothes.

"Forgot about that..." she trailed off feeling the need to keep her scarred and scabbed left arm covered by her gray button-up by beginning to pull down the sleeves she had rolled up. It didn't provide her with the same sense of security that her blue zip-up usually did but it would have to suffice for the time being while the jacket was in her trunk.

In the middle of her fidgeting with her sleeves, a tall man with shoulder-length black hair poked his head around the corner of the farthest room. His eyes captivated Ginger when she lay eyes on him and he soon enough stepped out into the long hall walking over to the trio.

"Sirius Black," he held out his left hand for her to take, "pleasure to meet you." His eyes fell over the intricate scars that littered her arm and hers fell over his arm for the same reason.

"Ginger Lunette, pleasure to meet you as well." She smiled sweetly at him and he already admired her charm in such a grin environment. Also noting how she hadn't reacted one bit upon hearing his name knowing she knew who he was and about his history in Azkaban. "You shake hands with your left hand?" she noted letting go of his hand.

He nodded, his hair bouncing as he did so, "As do you."

She nodded as well, "I'm ambidextrous. Shake with mostly my left and write mostly with my right, but only recently I've switched off to continuously writing with my right."

Sirius furrowed his brows while the twins squeezed past him to go where he had emerged from, "Why's that? If you don't mind me asking." He placed his hands in the pockets of the dressy pants that he wore.

Ginger pressed her lips into a thin line lifting her sleeve to display her whole forearm with etched lettering carved into it. "Curtesy of my Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Dolores Umbridge." He gazed at the words without needing to bring her arm into his hands for a closer look. The letters were in perfect, swishy handwriting as they cascaded down the young flesh of her arm.

He wordlessly nodded. "Harry's told us about her, s'pose she got to you too." She nodded. "Remus, come meet our new guest!" Sirius called down the hall and another man poked his head out before striding down the hall. The girl recognized him as Remus Lupin, the man had been her D.A.D.A professor during her fifth year of education and she had grown to deeply admire the man over that year.

"Ah, Ginger Lunette, what a pleasure to see you again," he smiled kindly at her.

She nodded intently with the same smile, "indeed it is, professor."

He put up a hand and lightly shook his head, "no need to call me professor anymore, Remus will do just fine." She nodded once more as George appeared beside her out of thin air.

"If you'll excuse us..." He placed his hands on her shoulders pushing her forward to the room he had disappeared into from before while Sirius and Remus nodded.

The warm smell of freshly baked goods entered Ginger's nose as they turned the corner and the family Ginger had grown to be so familiar with had come into view. An older woman was setting the table, multiple kinds of foods on it, and then her attention shifted to the door where Ginger and George stood. Ginger noticeably shifted under her squinted gaze and backed into George slightly.

"George?" He hummed in response to her whisper. "Your mother wouldn't be racist, now would she?" George chuckled shaking his head as the woman approached them.

"You must be Ginger?" The girl stiffened. "Oh, come here! I've heard so much about you!" She enveloped Ginger in a bone-crushing embrace taking her by surprise.

"Alright, let the girl breathe," George joked even though his mother was cutting off Ginger's airways.

"Ah, hello Arthur!" Ginger took notice of the injured man who had been sitting at the head of the table with multiple different wrappings and bandages around him. She gently leaned down to hug him after not seeing him for so long.

Moments after Ginger's arrival, Remus had bid his goodbyes just before they could sit down for dinner. Ginger assumed her spot between the twins would be ideal since they had left an empty chair in between themselves. Small talk had commenced around the table independently leading up to Molly speaking up.

"So, Ginger? George?" Their heads perked up at the sound of their names. "When did the two of you get together?" They both froze in their seats while Fred struck his head down into his folded arms to shield his hyena-like laughing from them.

"Mrs Weasley, I'm sorry, did you say get together?" Ginger spared a glance at Fred who was trembling while trying to contain his laughter. Ron sat beside Harry and Hermione still eating away at his meal while glancing his eyes back and forth between the four people speaking.

"Please, call me Molly. And yes you're correct." She smiled kindly at her son and his presumed girlfriend.

      "Mum we're..."

"...Not together," Ginger finished George's sentence with a glance around the table of those who were paying attention to their conversation. Molly took a deep exhale of air looking at Fred who still had his head down.

      "Well, Fred told me..."

"Fred told you?" Ginger and George's heads turned in the direction of Fred who finally lifted his head to have tears in his eyes.

"Indeed I did." He sighed still letting small chuckled fall from his lips.

"Sorry you were told that false information, Molly," Ginger stepped on Fred's foot from beneath the table, "but George and I are just friends."

George threw a fork at Fred from around Ginger. Fred raised a fork to throw back but Molly raised her hand up to keep him from doing so. Ginger sighed with a smile. Though her introductions had gotten off on a rather odd start, she knew she would be just fine with the Weasleys.
