"GOOD EVENING, CHILDREN." Dumbledore interrupted the bustling of students' conversations and gained their attention. "Now, we have two changes in staffing this year. First, we're pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who will be taking Care of Magical Creatures while Professor Hagrid is on temporary leave. We also wish to welcome our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher: Professor Dolores Umbridge." He motioned towards a woman in pink with a toad-like facial structure.

"I didn't know the choir toads were becoming educators, good on them," Ginger whispered to Alexander who choked out a laugh but attempted to hide it with a cough when the woman's eyes turned to the pair.

"She's like a toad and medusa had a child and threw some pink on it," he grimaced at the blinding pink she wore that majorly contrasted with the other professors.

"Hem hem." The toadish woman stood as Dumbledore turned around to see where the sound came from. "Headmaster, if I could address the school?" Dumbledore looked taken back by the request.

"She can't be serious. Look, McGonagall's even glaring at her." Ginger whispered appalled at the woman in pink.

"Thank you, Headmaster." She stepped forward to stand in front of Dumbledore's podium. "How lovely it is to see all of your bright, happy faces smiling up at me." Blank faces all around. "I'm sure we're all going to be very good friends."

"Right. The greatest of friends," Alex mumbled under his breath. She cast an eerie gaze in the boys' direction as if she could've possibly heard him all the way across the Great Hall which put both Ravenclaws at an unease.

"She's already an absolute nightmare" Ginger spoke appalled that the woman was still speaking while the Lunette girl was.

Eventually, she stopped her nagging on about how the Ministry sent her to Hogwarts and finally allowed the students to eat their welcome back feast.
