They had their breakfast talking and laughing with each other. They felt really peaceful with each other once again. They felt the same level of comfort and ease. They were extremely happy today. Things weren't same like teasing, leg pulling, flirting but yes they were once again trying to get fine with each. But they knew now they have their best friend beside them and they were satisfied with this.
After breakfast, they washed the dishes and cleaned up the house together. They sat down chit chatting trying to cover the time they ignored each other. They watched movie and prepared lunch.
Days passed like this. Sana and Rahul were now back to normal. Rahul stopped flirting with her though. But they were back to their fights, masti, teasing, helping each other, doing fun, doing all works together, playing games, going outside, watching movies and much more. But one thing was different Rahul became a possessive and protective brother. Though Sana is an independent girl who knows how to save herself but Rahul protects her from everything.
They were happy with in their small moments they were spending and wouldn't trade them for anything.
One day, Rahul was sitting thinking something deeply. Sana noticed and went to him. She sat beside him and held his hand in hers and squeezed it. He looked up at her.
Sana: What's wrong?
Rah: Hmm?.......Nothing
Sana: Rahul we are best friends and there are ni secrets in between us. So please tell me what's wrong
Rahul sighed.
Rah: Was just thinking about dad
Sana: Why? What happened? Is he alright?
Rah: Yes and no. Well he never shows but I very well know he is not alright. Jitna maine mom ki kami mehsoos ki hai bachpan se lekar aaj tak usse kahi zyada dad ne unhe miss kia hai. Chahe jitna marzi chhupale but mujhe to pata hai na. I know how alone he was. Jitna marzi show kare he is happy without her. He had moved on but sachai to yahi hai na ki aaj bhi he misses her. He loves her utna hi jitna kal karte the
Sana: I can understand. Mein bhi mom ko bachpan se dekhti aayi hu. She never used to show her pain to me. Always tried to mask it with a smile. Aur uss time to mujhe laga karta tha ki God just hates me ki mere dad ko itni si age mein hi mujhse chheen lia. I am the most unlucky girl. Par badi hui to samaj aaya mein nhi unlucky to mom hai. I atleast had her who was doing responsibilities of mom and dad both. Mere paas to wo hai. But wo. Wo to bilkul hi akeli hai. Atleast she could be my dad but I can never be her husband. I can love her but not like her life partner would have done. Chahe dad duniya mein nhi the ya they two separated still she suffered
Rah: I wish they had been together. I can't see him sad
Sana nodded agreeing.
Sana: Life kuch aur hi hoti na Rahul if they had been together. Kaash alag hue hi nhi hote dono. I agree with you
