Sana cupped his face and wiped his tears but no use. They were flowing continuously. She moved close to him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around. She snuggled into his chest and his grip was tight as if he was scared if he loosened it, his princess will once again go far away from him. He wasn't able to control his sobs today. He controlled himself from breaking down. He hid his pain, tears from everyone all these years. He used to show everyone he is too strong to cry over a broken marriage. Although he used to cry alone but today he couldn't control himself and cried in front of his most precious person, his daughter.
She didn't stop him because she was mature enough to understand he needs this. She just hugged him tightly rubbing his back letting him everything out. Though seeing her father broken brought tears in her eyes.
He calmed down after sometime and broke the hug.
Sid: I am sorry I don't know....
Sana:(cuts him) It's okk....umm d..dad
He couldn't stop but a wide smile came on his face along with some happy tears. She first time called him dad. Though it was too late for the moment but his happiness knew no bounds in that very moment. She smiled back at him. He cupped her face and looked at her.
Sid: Please ek baar firse dad kho. Please ek baar
Sana: Dad
He kissed her forhead and pulled her in another hug.
Sid: You don't know how much I craved to hear this from my princess' mouth
She didn't reply but felt blessed to be in this man's arm. Even she craved for this.
Sana: Dad
Sid: Hmm
Sana: Aap aur mom sab sort kyu nhi kar lete?
Sid stiffened hearing her question. His grip loesened. She looked up at him.
Sid: I don't know how. I mean wo kya sochti hai. Aur kya sab theek bhi ho sakta hai. Am I ready? Itna easy nhi hai beta. Kya usne mujhe maaf kar dia jo hua? Ya wo mujhse nafrat karti hai. Mein kuch nhi janta. It's been 17 years. Kaise hoga sab theek? Mujhe nhi pata. Ye sab bohot mushkil hai
Sana nodded and let it be for now not wanting to force him.
Meanwhile with Rahul and Avu
Avu: I don't have anything else to say. Mere paas koi explanation nhi hai jo hua past mein. I except it was my mistake
Rah: To why don't you two just sort everything?
Avu: Beta itna asaan nhi hai jitna lagta hai. Mujhe nhi pata uske dil mein ab kya hai mere lie. Wo kya chahta hai? Mein to khud ke dil ka nhi janti uska to mein kya hi boloo
Rahul nodded understandingly. He was happy atleast she let everything out.
Avu: I know you have craved for a mother. Mein wo beeta samay to nhi wapis laa sakti par itna zaroor kar sakti hu agar Siddharth ko koi problem na ho to we can spend time from now. But I swear I never wanted to let you two suffer. Bass wo kuch pal hi the jo gusse mein I took that decision. I am sorry
Rahul sighed and pulled her in a hug and caressed her hair. He kissed top of her head.
Rah: You don't have to apologize for anything. I know aap dono ne galati ki thi par aap dono saha bhi bohot hai. Mujhe aapse koi shikayat nhi hai. I...I love you....mo...mom
Avu looked up from his chest with a smile and teary eyes. He kissed her forhead and nodded.
Rah: I love you inspite of everything. I am lucky to have a dad like him, a mom like you and a best friend like Sana. Mujhe aap dono se koi shikayat nhi hai. Aap dono mein jo hua that was past. I don't want to judge you both. Aap dono ki galati thi and you have got enough punishment for it
She didn't speak anything or more precisely she had nothing to say. She just hugged and thanked God for again making her meet him and for having such mature kids.
Sid and Sana came out.
Sana: Mujhe bhookh lagi hai
She pouted making everyone chuckle but Sidneet got quite as they realized each other's presence.
Rah: Umm yee we didn't have breakfast yet
Avu: Mein lagati hu
Sand cleaned up table. Avu brought breakfast and Rahul helped her. Sid set up plates. They had breakfast as one family for first time. Though it was really awkward for Sidneet. But still they sat on same table for their children. Sana and Rahul were really happy.
They enjoyed for sometime and watched a movie though Sidneet didn't talk with each other. After lunch, they both left bidding them bye.
To be continued
