Chapter 41

As soon as Sidneet looked at each other, plate felt down from Avu's trembling hands. The plate broke and food got scattered all over the floor. She looked down at the mess got created. Her vision was blurry because of tears in her eyes. Sid was just standing there. Rahul and Sana were looking at each other as if asking what to do. Finally Sana went near Avu and squeezed her shoulder.

Sana: Are you okk mumma?

Avu nodded slightly and tried wiping the tears but to no use. They were just flowing continuously without stopping. Sana took her towards sofa carefully avoiding any plate piece and made her sit. Rahul took Sid and made him in room.

Rah: I will get water

Sid nodded before holding his head. He went out and saw Avu crying silently. She wasn't sobbing but tears were still coming out of her eyes. He sighed and went in kitchen. He saw Sana standing there biting  her nails. He poured water in two glasses. He handed one to Sana.

Rah: Tum dad ke paas jaoo aur unse baat karne ki koshish karo

Sana nodded.

Sana: Aur mom?

Rah: I will talk to her. Don't worry

Sana: Okk

Rah: I thought ek ke saath to itne saalo se rahe hai. Uska pain to dekha hai. To let's hear from thw other person

Sana nodded and both out taking glass of water. Sana was feeling nervous before going to room. Rahul noticed and squeezed her shoulder. She looked at him. He gave her an assuring smile which she returned and nodded. Sana went in their room where Sid was sitting and Rahul went near Avu. He sat on his knees in front of her and forwarded the glass of water. Avu looked at him. He moved it up and placed near her lips. She took the glass and drank water but it didn't go down her throat.

Avu: Galle ke neeche hi nhi utar raha. Kya karoo?

Rahul sighed and took back the glass and kept it on table. He took her hands in his and looked at her.

Avu: Tum dono ko pata tha na ki Siddharth bhi aa raha hai? Ya phir usko bhi tum dono ne hi bulaya hai?

Rah: Well yes maine aur Sana ne khud hi bulaya tha aap dono ko

Avu: Kyu? When you both know we are ex. Won't it hurt?

Rah: I know it would hurt. In fact we both knew it. But we called you here for a reason

Avu: And that is?

Rah: We want to know about you two. How you got together? How you two seprated? Aesa bhi kya ho gya ki alag hona pada? Because chhote mote jhagde to sab mein hote hai aur I know sort bhi ho jate hai. To aapme aesa kya ho gia ki aap alag hi ho gye. Sort karne ki koshish hi nhi ki ya ho nhi paya?

Avu chuckled humorlessly.

Avu: Tum log kya hi karoge wo sab jaanke. That's our past and we have moved on. Ab dobara kyu yaad karna hai uss sabko?

Rah: Humne itne saalo se control kia. Neither I asked dad ki meri mother kon hai kaha hai, divorce ka reason nor Sana asked you anything about her father ki kon hai, unki death kaise hui. Par ab humse control nhi hua. Now we want answers. Hume jaanna hai ki kya hua? And rhi baat move on ki to maine aapko to personally nhi dekha but I have seen dad in pain. He used to miss you. He never moved on. Bachpan se lekar aaj tak dekhta aaya hu aapke beech jo bhi hua still there is something he still holds for you in his heart. Wo position jo shayad wo na kisi ko aaj de paye hai na hi de payenge. Aur aapka bhi Sana has told me you have always missed me. To move on ki baat to aap humse karo hi nhi. Aur hum kya karenge aapne poocha. To I think we have a right to know about our parents

Meanwhile with Sid and Sana

Sana went inside and sat beside Sid. She kept her hand on his shoulder and gave him water. He drank it.

Sid: You both planned this right?

He said with a painful smile.

Sana: Umm yes

Sid sensed her nervousness. No matter what he is her father.

Sid: See beta I don't know ki tum dono ka hume aese bulane ka kya motive tha but it hurts and it was shocking we didn't expect each other like this. So this was all too much and this reaction I know you guys knew before doing this ki aesa hi kuch hoga

Sana: We had an idea. We didn't even knew ki you guys will be hurt, angry, shocked or what

Sid: Well honestly there are all mixed feelings. I myself can't understand or explain

Sana: I can understand

Sid: So? Any specific motive you guys planned this

Sana: Actually we want to know about your mom's past. We tried controlling for long thinking it will hurt you but now we can't be more patient. We want to know the truth

Sid nodded slightly.
