I'll look at you differently
With different light in the eyes
I will no longer think of you
I might no longer cryMy sight may see you
You might be right then and there.
But that wrong idea.
The pedestal I put you on top.
...
Will be gone.As healthy as it sounds
It will not be as easy as falling for you.
I might be able to do it in a week or two.
Or maybe I won't at all.But I'll try.
With all my might.
To see you at eye sight.
To fall or not for the person in front.Out of sight, out of mind.
Or that's what I thought.
Now I gotta take you out of my mind.
To have you in sight.I will see you differently.
Wrinkles in the eyes
From a smile truer than the sky.
But not with the same light.Hopefully,
I'll find a new home.
Somewhere inside.
Where the mirror shows the eyes.
And I look at that person with good light.
