If you didn't know
Your thought appeared at just the right moment,
Your face glanced at my eyes for just a brief second,
Your whole presence held me high. When I was down to my knees
Hoping the Earth swallowed me whole,
For my corpse to sundry in the winter cold,
You made me warm. You gave me hope.I would like to point out
Those unimaginable things you did
In a list a bit to small for your grandeur
Activities that seems you all pioneeredA hello text in the morning.
A have you eaten text in the afternoon.
A have fun text before a party.
A good night text under the moon.An "I miss you" mentioned
Right in the middle of a call.
An "I trust you'll get better"
Just when I was about to crawl.A hug that was a second
Plus a microsecond long.
A glance with a little smile
That made me feel I belong. You stopped the inevitable.
My non surprising demise.
And there you are just living around,
You held my hand and you didn't even realise. We'll do fine.
We'll find a path.
You know what?
I'll just look from the side.
...
I'll cheer you on.
You'll find your path.
You'll do just what you want.
With a big heart and an amazing smile. You'll grow on your own.
Go on and fly away.
I'll hang to admire this place for just a little while.
I am no longer to get stuck and stay.I'll just confess.
I may not look like it.
But, oh dear Destiny.
Maybe this time, I'm not a mess.Drift away they call it.
I call it seeing you grow.
See myself grow.
Find out what ends up mattering the most. What makes our hearts beat.
What makes our bodies shine.
What taking care actually means.
To be alone and not lonely. To be just fine.Thank you.
Thank you for reading this.
A love letter to our many goodbyes.
A little note of pure reminisce. An acknowledgement of temporary.
Of a brief speck of light.
Of a life that gave life to another.
Of a little anthology I chose to write.
