I took a deep breath, checking over everything one last time. Was everything perfect? I couldn't help feeling that I'd forgotten to do something... I sighed, trying to calm myself down and force myself to bed it was getting late.
"Are you seriously still up?" Christina asked, poking her head in. "You have to be up for 7:00 in the morning, get to bed!"
"I need to make sure everything's perfect." I told her, getting back into bed. "Plus, I'm not used to this bed being so empty."
"After tomorrow it won't be empty ever again." She smiled at me.
"That's not true, they tour all the time!" I laughed.
"Okay, well you know what I mean." She shook her head.
"Will you sleep in here with me?" I asked, poking my bottom lip out in a pout. "This bed is too big for just me."
"Fine." Christina shook her head at me. "You're lucky I love you."
"I know." I smiled, laying down and pulling my blankets up over me. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
I woke up at 7:00, to Christina squirting me with ice cold water. I was not impressed, but got up and threw on some decent looking clothes, before we left to grab breakfast and then headed to the salon.
"So, are you nervous for the big day?" My hairdresser Michelle asked, as she styled my hair.
"Not really." I told her, honestly. "I'm more worried that I forgot to get something done, than I am about the wedding in general."
"I'm sure everything's fine." She told me, wrapping my hair around the curling iron. "Your hair looks beautiful curled."
"Thank you." I smiled, even though she couldn't see.
"Anytime." Michelle answered.
By noon, Christina, my three other bridesmaids, Lindsay, Cassie and Alayna had our hair and make up done and were ready to get dressed and go. We all headed to the hotel to get ourselves dressed.
"Alright, here." Alayna handed me a shot glass.
"What's this?"
"Tequila, take it." She shrugged. "Last drink before you're married."
"Alright then." I shrugged, before downing the shot.
I stared at the girls in their apple red dresses, all four of them looked beautiful. I kept checking everything, making sure it was all perfect. The flowers were perfect, the dresses were all perfect... Everything seemed perfect and all I had to do now was walk down the aisle and say I do.
"Are you ready?" Christina asked, as we made our way to the ballroom.
"I guess so." I smiled.
"No cold feet? Don't want to runaway? I'll hold your dress if you want to make a run for it now." She smiled.
"No, I want to do this." I told her, as we all lined up. "I'm sure."
"Good." She smiled. "I'll see you at the end of the aisle then."
I took a deep breath and watched, as each of the girls disappeared down the aisle... It was my turn next.
