I sat quietly, while the guys "practiced". Honestly, all they were doing right now was arguing over what to play this weekend at their next show. I held back giggles as voices were raised, and the amount of swearing increased. It was entertaining watching these four argue. I kept to myself, alone on the old navy couch that had been here for as long as I could remember, it wasn't very comfortable either.

"Jess, what do you think we should play?" Ian asked, while the other three continued to argue.

"I think you should play each of your favourite songs to perform and then more of the newer songs you guys have." I answered. "Anyways, it's starting to get late," I pointed to the clock on the far back wall behind Aaron. "And I have a ton of bio homework, so I'm going to head home."

"Thanks for the help." Ian smiled. "Good luck with the homework."

"Bye, guys!" I yelled, finally breaking them away from their argument.

"Why are you leaving?" Jon asked, looking a little upset.

"Bio homework, and it's 7:30." I told him. "I'll see you tomorrow, call me later okay?"

"Is it 7 already?" Ben asked, his voice taking on a shocked tone.

"I'll call you when everything's figured out." Jon smiled at me. "Love you."

        "I love you too."

        **

Jon called me at 10:48 that night, of course I was still up studying for Bio and completing homework. I considered ignoring the call so I could continue studying, since this course is a pretty big deal for me, but I couldn't ignore him.

        "Hello?" I answered hesitantly.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" Jon immediately responded.

        "Because I'm studying."

"You already know all that stuff, Dev. What more do you really need to do?"

"Make sure I really know it all."

Jon sighed hevily before responding. "You already have what, 97 in that class? I think you're fine."

"Can't be too careful." I said quietly. "I really need this course."

"I know, I know." He sighed again.

"I'll go to bed as soon as I get off the phone with you. I promise."

"Good." I could hear his smile. "Oh, Aaron wanted to know if you need or want a ride to school tomorrow morning."

"It's better than taking a bus, so yes please!"

        "I'll let him know."

        "Thank you."

"Well, I'm tired so I'm going to let you go. Please get some sleep tonight. I love you."

"I love you too, I'll go to bed now. Goodnight."

I hung up quietly, then got up and changed into pyjamas... which was really my underwear and Jon's shirt... Since more of his wardrobe was in my house than his. I then walked through my tiny apartment and made sure the door was locked and all the lights were off, before finally allowing myself to go to bed.

        **

I woke up to the redundant sound of my alarm clock beeping. I turned it off quickly, and looked at the time, 6:30 AM. I rubbed my eyes and got up out of bed. I stretched a little before making my way out of my bedroom and into the bathroom. I glanced in the mirror and frowned, my hair looked completely flat and greasy and just all around unattractive. Rather than hop into the shower like a normal girl would, I pulled out an elastice and pulled my hair back into a tight pony tail, now you can't tell if my hair is greasy.. I pulled fixed my bangs quickly and then finally allowed myself to awknowledge the fact that I really had to pee. I quickly did all my bathroom stuff, and finally headed back into my bedroom. I opened my drawers and began to pull clothes out, a faded blue shirt that held the remains of a faded pepsi logo on it, and dark blue skinny jeans, a bra and underwear.

I quickly headed into my kitchen, and opened the old white fridge's door open. I pulled out the last surviving container of vanilla yogurt, and opened it immediately. Of course though, I didn't have time to eat it all because Aaron was early as usual. This resulted in me scrambling to get my black converse on, getting yogurt in my hair, and accidentally zipping my sweater up and catching the skin on my neck, and having all the contents of my bag spill down the stairs outside my apartment. So, I entered Aaron's car cursing the world and angry.

"Well, good morning Devon." Aaron said, holding back obvious laughter.

"Is my neck bleeding?" I asked, pulling the visor down to inspect it.

"Not that I can see." Aaron responded, before backing out of the parking space. "We have to go pick up Ben now, so I had to come earlier than I expected."

        "You're buying me lunch."

        "What?"

"You made me ruin my breakfast, so you're buying me lunch." I told him.

        "Fine." He rolled his eyes.

        "Thanks for the ride."

        "You're welcome."

It wasn't long before we pulled up in Ben's driveway. He was waiting outside, and didn't look nearly as miserable and pissed off as I bet I did when Aaron picked me up. Unfortunately, picking Ben up meant I had to move to the back seat.

"Good morning." Aaron said, as Ben got into the passenger seat.

"Good morning." Ben smiled at him.

"Anyone else you need to get Aaron?" I asked, making myself comfortable in the backseat.

        "Nope."

"Good. Did you all figure out what you're doing this weekend?" I asked the two of them.

"We did." Ben smiled. "But we're not telling you, because its all a secret."

"What?" I whined. "I do everything for you guys, and now we're keeping secrets? Fine, see what happens next time you need posters put up around town."

"You'll just have to wait." Aaron said, happily. "Trust me, you're not going to stay angry for long."

Before I could respond I felt the sudden urge to vomit everywhere, I tried to tell Aaron to pull over but when I opened my mouth to speak I ended up vomiting all over the backseat. I couldn't help it, and I felt so embarrassed and bad that I'd done it that I broke down into tears and just apologized repeatedly to Aaron.

"It's okay, at least I can clean the seats." Aaron assured me, pulling over.

"Are you okay?" Ben asked, turning to look at me. "You look kind of, green."

"I felt fine five minutes ago." I said quietly. "Then when I went to say something, I just ended up throwing up."

"Well, looks like we're going to be late today." Aaron sighed, getting out of the car to help clean the mess I'd made.
