Zero stood up as the end of lunch bell rang, heading towards his art class.

The people in the halls staring as he went. Some people parting subconsciously.

Zero arrived in the arts class. Sitting at the very back once more, continuing his game since the teacher hadn't arrived yet. Zero was extremely focused on the game, not noticing Alice and Mira arrive, the former skipping while chattering about clothes and whatnot.

Alice looked around the class, smelling the faint scent of... watermelon?

She whipped her gaze towards the source, looking at Zero. She felt giddy as she realised he sat right next to where she would usually sit.

She skipped over, sitting down and staring at him. Zero continued playing his game, as if he couldn't feel her eyes on his straight face, but inside Zero was wondering why Alice was staring at him weirdly.

'Hmmm, I wonder if she knows about my rebirth." Zero turned towards Alice after another minute of staring, not able to ignore her abnormal stare.

"Can I help you with something?" Zero asked with a blank expression, but his eyes said 'Stop staring if you know what's good for you.'

Alice immediately sat up straight, smiling brightly. "Hi I'm Alice and you are Zero."

Zero's eye twitched lightly, is this why she almost burned a hole in his hoodie, to introduce herself.

"En." Zero turned back to his phone, the action making Alice huff as she turned to Mira who had been completely forgotten. She began talking to her animatedly with vigor again, acting like nothing had happened.

A few minutes later the arts teacher arrived, greating the class with a bright smile. "Hello class, we seem to have a new student today. Care to introduce yourself."

Zero followed the same sequence of actions he had in all the other classes and came back to his desk.

The art teacher looked like she wanted to drag him back and make him introduce himself the right way, but ultimately decided to turn towards the rest of the class. "Today you will be painting the view of how you see yourself, artfully of course, now get painting."

Everyone got their art supplies and began working. Zero sat infront of his aisle, wondering what he should paint. After five minutes of thinking he began painting without a further thought.

After an hour of painting, the teacher clapped her hands as a signal to stop painting.

She began calling people's names one by one as they walked to the front of the class and presented their painting, explaining what the art portrayed.

He had to say, some people were quite talented.

As it reached his turn, Zero walked to the front of the class and showed his painting, explaining. "This painting portrays the mystery, secrets and and also the unknown."

After the short explanation he went back to his seat.

Alice stared blankly ahead of her, lost in thought. He had forgotten to mention beauty and uniqueness in his description. She turned towards him slowly and stared at his painting.

He'd painted the galaxy, a mixture of blacks, blues, purples and stars. The galaxy was full of mysteries, undiscovered and different from all other things. But it was also unique because there were no other things like the different galaxies, not to mention beautiful.

"Wow," the teacher moved her eyes around the class then spoke again, "everyone did quite well, keep working hard."

After the teacher's words, the bell rang. Everyone began packing and went out of the room with their own groups, chartering and talking.
