Chapter 8: Edward's Back

Zero sat in front of the coffee table, sipping some coffee as he watched Bella being depressed.

"Do you think he's gonna come back." Bella asked for the seventh time as she moved around the room, preparing for school.

He was already used to the question. He'd talked with Bella over the week, it showed she was already obsessed over the man.

"Let's go." Zero took his bag and walked to the door, getting to his motorbike smoothly while Bella moved like the patches of water were lava.

Bella got to her truck, that was a safe distance away from his Kawasaki.

Today he was wearing some black jeans and a hoodie, having decided to change for a bit instead of wearing sweatpants.

Zero got onto his Kawasaki Ninja and started it up, one of his songs playing.

Once he got to school, he waited for Bella to arrive, having gotten used to doing this.

"Zero!"

Zero stiffly turned his neck, feeling like running away.

"How are you, how did you sleep, how was your day and how do I look?" Alice asked while holding his hand and swinging it about.

"Fine, fine, good." Zero sighed after speaking, over the week before he'd learnt never to ignore Alice, this girl had her ways.

"Mhmm. Today your going to sit with my family and I at lunch, I want you to meet them." Alice spoke with glittery eyes, Zero nodded silently, not even bothering to try to refuse.

'Is it me or is she acting like she's trying to introduce her boyfriend for approval.' Zero considered for a while but decided not. 'Nah all in my head.'

He couldn't do anything against the vampire with a pixie cut.

The sound of Bella's truck neared as Zero looked up, feeling tired of the day already.

Alice left after waving goodbye at him.

"Let's go." Bella walked ahead, meeting up with her friend group.

The rest of the day went by until lunch came rolling in.

Zero walked with Bella, wondering what drama was going to take place now.

As soon as Zero entered the cafeteria, he noticed the Cullen's weren't there yet.

Zero went over to the group's table and sat down. Five minutes later his eyes were caught by an excited Alice who immediately waved him over.

Zero stood up, briefly glancing at Bella and her companions.

He got to the table and sat beside Alice after she gestured at a chair beside her.

"Okay let me introduce you to each other, this is Rosalie, Emmet, Mira, Jasper and Edward, my family." Alice pointed to each individual as she introduced them, then turned to Zero. "Family this is Zero."

Alice looked at Zero expectantly, waiting for him to do something.

"Hello." After those words Zero looked at Alice, his eyes saying that he wouldn't say more.

Alice nodded with a bright smile as she began talking to the other Cullen's.

Zero looked at Bella as she sat with her friends while looking towards Edward, who was also looking towards her too. If Zero didn't know better, he'd probably thing that Edward was a pervert.

'Mhmm, it would be logical to see Edward as a creep since he stared at Bella while she sleeps, goes around listening to other people's thoughts and he always looks shady.'
