"He's doing what!" Everyone in the cafeteria turned their heads toward Alice, who was now standing with both hands planted on the desk, glaring holes into the back of Zero's hoody.
"Oh were going to talk." Alice stomped towards Zero, who's back was now as stiff as a board, head slowly and stiffly turning to face her. "ZERO!"
She was halfway to him when the unexpected happened.
Zero took a deep breath and...
Bolted.... He ran like the devil was at he's back.
"Oh no u freaking don't!" Alice ran after him, finding it a small hassle to restrain her supernatural speed.
Zero took a glance behind him, looked forward and sped up, 'I will fight before I get caught!' he was out of the cafeteria door in seconds, alice fifteen steps behind.
Zero was practically flouting with how fast he's long legs were moving, nevertheless he was running from a pixie demon vampire.
He chanced a look behind and only had the time to shout, "SHI-"
Before Alice was on his back, tackling him to the ground.
"Zero! You dare run from me! Huh?" Alice flipped him onto he's back, straddling he's waist while holding he's hands together with her smaller ones.
Zero stared up, wide eyed, mouth gaping in shock.
Alice stared down at him, eyes narrowing threateningly, "Start talking Zee."
"I can explain!" Zero spoke quickly, then mentally slapped himself, where had he's wits gone, that was the dumbest thing to say.
"Oh really? Then explain running from me like I'm the plague."
'Shitaki mushroom's' Zero turned he's gaze to the side, not knowing what to do about the situation.
"Uh... I don't think we should keep talking, Alice... There's a big difference between us and uhhh... You can find another person to talk to if you're bored..." Zero wasn't thinking. " I'm not used to you around me and I want to keep it that way, so I think we should end this weird friendship."
"Ahhh shit" Emmet put he's hand on he's forehead, shaking he's head.
"I almost can't bare to watch" Jasper blinked.
"I almost can't bare to listen." Edward covered he's ears, useless as he caught all of Alice's thoughts.
"This is getting good." Rosalie raised her imaginary popcorn.
"Rose!" Mira smacked Rosalie lightly on the shoulder, feeling concerned.
Alice stared at him. Stared at him for five full seconds before she raised her hand and placed it on he's face violently. Silence. Nerve wrecking silence. Zero's face having turned to the side with the slap.
"Is he dead?"
"Emmet!"
'Damn!!! shit, my face... Crud cakes... I think she broke something.' those were he's first thoughts after the ringing in he's head stopped.
[No permanent injuries detected, host. A concussion and bruising estimated to heal in 8 days has been sustained.]
'Shut up.'
System:.... (ノಥ,_｣ಥ)ノ彡┻━┻
"Ahhh" he turned he's head towards Alice, he's face swelling up at a pace visible to the human eye, five finger prints staining he's cheek like a tattoo.
He took a deep breath, let it out then repeated. Three seconds later he opened he's mouth, it hurt to speak. "Why... would... yo-"
"What? Do that? Well it's to do this." Alice put her still raised hand down beside her.
"Do... Wha-"
Alice raised him by the front of he's hoodie, brought he's face to her's-and kissed him.
Zero froze. The people in the cafeteria froze. The world froze.
Alice was mortified, what had she done? She mentally banged her head into a wall, what should she do?
"So cold... Yet so soft." Zero couldn't help but think as Alice stiffly pressed her lips to he's.
It lasted ten seconds before Alice separated them.
"Why?"
"Because I like you, you dense bastard." Alice placed her forehead against Zero's lean chest.
Silence. Solid silence, then. "Ehhhh, me? I'm with you, in that ship."
"What?" Alice furrowed her brows.
"Pancakes and syrup are just like us." Zero had a dopey smile plastered on he's face, eyes dazed.
"Ohhh my Lord." Alice cupped Zero's face within her cold palm, worry filling her eyes.
"I think Alice broke him." Emmet spoke while going outside, the rest of the Cullen's following.
"Pixie loves me!" He let out a loud dog whistle.
Then he passed out from a severe concussion.
"Oh my gosh, somebody call 911." A girl still in the cafeteria shouted, whipping out her phone as a few other people did the same.

Zero felt horrible, he had a headache, he's face felt like fire and he smelt the hospital.
"What happened?" He groaned, feeling his jaw strain.
"Well Mr Swan, your in the hospital." He looked to the side to see doctor Cullen.
"Oh." He's mouth was dry, amazingly so. "What happened?"
"You sustained a severe concussion, thankfully no bones were broken or you would have been disfigured and would have to go through surgery." Doctor Cullen spoke with a gentle smile, eyes surveying him slightly
"Was I in an accident?" He was confused, he only remembered sitting at a lunch table.
"I'll let my daughter explain that." Softer Cullen's lip twitched.
"Ok, but can I have some water first."
"Of course." He spoke while standing up and pouring a glass of water from a green jug.
"Thank you." He sipped the water, feeling it flow down he's throat in a soothing line.
"Let me call my daughter." Doctor Cullen walked out of the door.
Alice walker in and Zero froze, remembering every mortifying moment.
"You slapped me!" He had an incredulous note to he's voice.
"I, uhhh, I'm sorry?" She was playing with her fingers, small frame pivoting side to side.
"That sound more like a question! Are you really sorry?"
Alice turned her head to the side. "...Yes."
'Lies.' Zero couldn't help but do a raspy smiggle voice in he's head.
He closed he's eyes for a second, remembering all the words spoken at that time. "Let's talk."
"Ok..."
