Chapter 12: mission avoid

Zero got to school and performed his usual actions and waited for Bella crossing his lean arms and looking to the side.

The parking lot went silent for a second before the chatter started again... the Cullen's had arrived.

Zero stiffened slightly as he felt that pair of burnt gold eyes looking at him.

Zero looked up after 5 second and saw Alice about to take a step towards him and say his name.

'Damn I gotta stay away from her... Because it is not good to become too close to the Cullen's.' Zero lifted his foot and made quick work of his plan, crossing the distance between the school doors and parking lot within five seconds.

No one noticed the slight pink on his cheeks.

(System: No, their supposed to have a closer bond after hugging, why is he thinking of avoiding her!!!💢 all my efforts...whyyyy! Damn you!)

Zero nose felt itchy. 'Who's talking about me.' He mentally shrugged and continued on his way.

Bella got to school five minutes after Zero, getting of her truck expecting to find him playing his game while waiting for her. She frowned slightly and started walking to class, wondering where her brother had gone.

Zero sat between two guys in class, focusing on his game as the minutes ticked by.

Everyone in the class looked at Zero every few seconds wondering about he's actions minutes ago when he'd entered the class.

'Bang.'

Everyone in the class turned to the door, finding Zero standing with his hand on the door, eyes looking each and every one of them up and down.

Everyone felt like they where being stared at by a creep.

Some cringed, some moved back a step and some stayed still, feeling like they were being assessed and graded.

Zero locked onto two boys standing side by side, both looking at him strangely.

"You two are sitting next to me from today onwards." Zero spoke while walking to them.

"Wha-"

Zero raised both his hands and placed them on the boys shoulders, looking into their eyes, half his face was in the shadows because of the hoody and the only thing you could see was his mouth and eyes, making him look scary.

"You move for anything, I'll kill you. If you move for anyone, I'll kill you... Especially for Alice. If you shift your asses off of those two seats, what will I do?" Zero's gloved hands tightened with each sentence, voice uncharacteristically deep.

"You kill us!" Both boys spoke with small voices, feeling like their shoulders were about to shatter.

"Good." Zero loosened his grip on their shoulders and kept eye contact. "Now get sitting."

"Yes sir!" Both boys subconsciously saluted, stomping their feet.

"At ease."

Both boys instantly smoothly got into their seats, a second later their bodies sagged, slumping into their seats... They had survived, they felt like they had been staring into the eyes of the devil, they would listen to every word he said.

Zero moved forward and sat in the seat between the two boys, putting his bag to his side and taking out his phone, looking like nothing had happened.

"..." Silence filled the class for a few more seconds.

"What just happened." One of the girls asked.

"No idea."

"I think... I think we have a military general in class." A nerdy looking boy answered, looking at Zero while lifting his glasses slightly.
