3rd POV

It had been six days since Ron had barged into Draco's home.

Hermione was still in a magic induced coma and Healer Chang came by three times a day to check on the baby. Being so close to her due date and in this condition made Cho nervous, but she tried very hard not to let it show.

"How is our leading lady doing?" She asked as she entered the room for her morning check in. Draco had not left Hermione's side for more than a couple minutes. Cho wasn't even sure if he had slept at all in the last six days.

"And how are you holding up? The nurses told me you haven't left ever since you brought her in."

Draco's POV

True to his word, Draco had read to both of his girls day and night. He only left to shower but always made sure someone was there with her. Thankfully , he had her moved to a room with a bathroom attached so he didn't have to leave the hospital. He also got work done while she was resting, but made sure to talk to her.

He didn't even look up from the potions formulas he was working on when Cho came in. "I'm hoping they're both fine. I have left but only to shower and check on the business while Blaise is in Italy. I've also been reading to them both, hoping it will help."

While she checked Hermione and the baby, he focused on his work, trying his hardest to figure out why the formula wasn't balancing. It was times like this he really missed being able to pick Hermione's brain.

3rd POV

Cho smiled and checked the vitals quietly so as not to disturb Draco's work. His dedication to Hermione was heartwarming. In all the time she had been here Ron had not come by. To Cho that was incredible and not in a good way. His wife was in a coma and he wasn't even trying to see her?

She finished up and said quietly "everything looks good. I'll be back later." She put a reassuring hand on his shoulder as she passed him and said "try looking from another angle. I don't know what has you stumped but I remember Hermione giving me that advice whenever I couldn't work something out" it was no mystery that he was working on something or that it wasn't working quite right so she figured why not share the advice she was given.

With that she left to look after other patients.

Three hours later an alarm started going off on one of Hermione's monitors.

Within seconds Cho had run into the room and was administering a calming draught. "That's an anxiety spike." She explained "Given the circumstances I set a machine to measure her anxiety levels. Once this takes effect I can work out what caused the spike."

Cho frowned and looked confused when the alarm just started again. She turned it off and checked the machine. It was working fine. She glanced confused at Draco then remembered the advice she had passed on and mumbled "another angle" she looked at Hermione then saw her belly and gasped. "It's the baby's anxiety levels." She was about to start some procedural spells when the door opened and none other than Ronald Weasley walked in.

Soon as he did everyone in the room was suddenly knocked back from Hermione's body by some sort of shockwave.

Cho crashed into the wall, Draco's chair was knocked back and Ron was forced right back out the door.

Draco's POV

Draco looked up at the healer when she recommended he look at his equation from a different angle. He thought about that for a moment. That could work. After all, he was trying to rework the adult formula. Once she said that though, he looked back at the equation and realised something crucial...one of the ingredients couldn't be used because it would hurt a child and therefore would have to be removed. If he did that, the potion would still work and the equation would be balanced.
