Draco's POV

***The next afternoon***

It was just after noon when Cho came in and told us that all of Hermione's results had come back good. She was fine as was our little Rose. I was now permitted to take them home. After packing my few things as well as Hermione's while Cho helped her dress, we were ready to go. I changed our princess as she was fussy from being wet and by the time I was done, we were all ready. "Cho, had them open one of the floos for us, because Rose is too young to apparate." He held out a hand to Hermione as he was already holding her daughter close to his chest. The bags had been shrunk and put in his pocket.

When they got back to his home, Harry and Ginny were standing in his living room. Mrs. Weasley was there as well with Scorpius who clapped his little hands and cooed loudly when he saw Hermione. He immediately started reaching for her. Draco just shook his head.

"I asked Ginny and Harry to be here since they both helped a lot with your room and getting the nursery ready for Princess Rose. Would you like to see them both?"

He was excited, but nervous. When he led her upstairs, they went to her room first. It was white with a queen sized bed. The bed was done in purple and gold. He'd made sure she had plenty of natural light. "Anything you don't like, we can change." He then pointed at 3 different doors and a set of double doors. "That's your closet, bathroom, the nursery and your own balcony." He then led her and Rose into the nursery. "And this Princess is your room." Her name was over her cot in wooden letters with rose patterns while Scorp's was over his done in light green vines. It hadn't been planned, but it worked well together. There was a rocking chair, a changing table and a cupboard with extra diapers and powder as well as anything else they could need for the two children.

He pointed to a door between the cots. "That's for their clothes. Now, I assume you want to get settled and explore, so I will leave you alone to do so. I'm going to make lunch for everyone as a thank you."

Mrs. Weasley smiled sweetly as she put Scorpius in his cot. "Mind if I help, dear?"

He shook his head. "Not at all." For what he wanted to do, he could actually use her help.

Hermione's POV

***The next afternoon***

Walking out of the fireplace into Draco's home to find her family there made her smile. It was a lot moving in with Draco. She was happy, grateful he was going to help her with Rose and give them a home as she couldn't go back to Ron and had nowhere else to go.

Following Draco she admired the rooms and smiled seeing how the colors all worked so flawlessly together. She particularly loved the white and purple and wondered how Draco knew she loved that color combination. Though she secretly had another color she adored, specially if the right shade is matched with the right shade of purple. Green. The Slytherin color itself. And what's more it looked good on her too. Much better than red.

She had been in a sort of daze admiring their new home so when he said he'd go make lunch she just nodded and sat on her bed looking through the door to Rose sleeping in her crib. Smiling, Hermione went and got her a little rose gold coloured blanket and placed it lightly over her. It wasn't cold but Hermione wasn't sure Rose would stay warm, she knew she felt the cold more when she slept so maybe Rose would too.

Draco's POV

It might be cheesy and unmanly, but Draco felt warm and fuzzy when he'd seen how much joy Rose had given Arthur. He really did like the man. The more he'd gotten to know him, the more he wished he'd had a father like that.

***At home***

Ginny and Harry had stayed with Hermione to help her get settled, while Draco had taken Molly to the kitchen. "Molly, what is Hermione's favorite food? And do you think you could teach me to make some of her favorites? I want her to be comfortable." He was nervous, because while he'd learned to cook and rather well, he wanted her to like it even if no one else did.
