I sighed blowing a loose strand of my hair out of my eyes. Resting my chin on the palm of my hand. No sign of luke. Everyone had either gone home or sat down somewhere else reading a different book with there parents.
Every couple minutes Ashton stopped helping joe read pulling his eyes towards me giving me a strange look. To him something was up and he knew. After the story was finished I'd either sit with ash and joe or go home. But now and today I stayed sat on the small uncomfortable beanbag looking like a lost puppy.
"Ok somethings up what's wrong" Ashton asked dragging the beanbag him and joe were originally sat on in front of me
"Nothing why are you assuming things" I quickly defended knowing something was obviously wrong
"You never act this way. You can tell me eff your like my sister" he pulled a sympathetic look. pulling joe back into his lap resting the book on the floor.
"Have you taken your pills" he asked again giving me a serious look
It was silly that I felt this way. The way i felt was disappointment and upset almost stood up in way. I had known luke for a day and he had already put me under this spell. Like I needed to see him however I knew he wasn't gonna show. He was hours late now. He was probably to busy with some girl or Calum to care about me.
This was my issue and had always been it. I got attached quickly and normally ended up spilling my heart out to that specific person. Then regretting it all in the end when that other person used it all against me.
It had happened before. That time I had Michael to protect me. But who says he would do it this time. Luke was his friend after all. Was Michael prepared to choose me or luke.
"Yes I did thanks for worrying ash but it hasn't got anything to do with that"
"well what's wrong then" Ashton asked
"Michael introduced me to luke last night" I mumbled cringing at Ashtons facial expressions
"HE WHAT!" His tone coming out harsh and strict. I almost wanted to crawl up in a hole and die at this point. I hated to think how joe would react if Ashton ever reacted this way if he misbehaved. If I was him crying would be the most popular option.
"Luke invited me round his house last"
"He didn't hurt you did he" his words coming out icy and quick
