Prove it.

It was an ordinary day.
Niall woke up in the morning,
Brushed his teeth, got dressed, did his hair, ate breakfast, then headed off to school.

Of course with Niall's luck he just had to run into his ex.

Harry Styles.

Now don't get it wrong, they don't hate each other, but they didn't break up on mutual terms either.

They try to avoid each other.

Niall avoids Harry because Harry was attracted to another boy while with Niall, hence why they broke up.

Harry avoids Niall because he's still in love with him. He realized he was wrong to leave Niall for a petty little crush. He's been wanting to tell Niall but he was waiting for the right time. And now running into him seemed, to Harry, like a sign to tell him now or never.

"Hi Niall" Harry spoke softly while smiling brightly at the Irish lad.

"Hey Harry" said Niall while looking down at the ground.

"Look, Niall I know we didn't end on the right terms and I know I hurt you but do you think I could maybe explain myself to you?"

"Uh, sure, I guess we have some time to kill anyway." Niall replied surprising Harry.

You see, the Chesire lad expected Niall to give him a hard time for even saying hi.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean, honestly, I always kinda wanted to know what was going through your mind, you're one of the most confusing person in the entire world Haz." Niall laughed.

Harry's heart fluttered. He missed that laugh. He missed Niall, and he wanted him back more than anything.

Niall on the other hand, although he'd never admit it, still absolutely loves Harry with all his heart.

"Uh, ok. Well Niall I know I'm an idiot. I know I hurt you, I was stupid, I left you for a petty fucking crush on some douchebag that didn't mean shit to me. I left the love of my life. And I regret it. It was the biggest mistake of my life. And I'm sorry Niall, I want you back, I'm in love with you Niall Horan and nothing will change that. I'll always be in love with you."

"Harry I-"

"And I know that you might not wanna take me back and although that will kill me to know you don't want I'll have to deal with it because I was a dumbass to hurt the one I love and-"

"Harry-"

"If you want to punch me in the face, that's fine too it'll hurt but I probably deserve it. Just please don't hit me in the balls, because that shit hurts like a -"

Niall had enough of Harry's rambling.
He did the one thing he knew that would shut Harry up.

He kissed him.

Harry finally stopped talking to kiss his Niall back.
He was on cloud 9
oh how he missed those lips!

When Niall pulled away, Harry looked at him in complete bliss.

"Now can I talk hazzy?"
Harry just nodded, his stomach got a whole bunch of butterflies at the nickname.

"Haz, I never stopped loving you. Yeah it hurt, but there is a saying 'if you love a man while he's young, then you have to accept that you're gonna go through some shit while he figures out how to be a man.' And honestly that's the truth. And I did accept it. In shorter words, Of course I'll take you back, you dork." Niall said smiling up at Harry smiling brightly back at him.

"I love you Niall Horan"

Niall kissed him and said
"Prove it, Styles"

And believe me he absolutely did prove it, later on that night ;)
