the angles national forest was quiet, it was early in the morning at 4:30 am and most of the dinosaurs were still asleep apart from the smaller ones.

The sauropods were in a deep sleep, while dinosaurs like compsognathus, gallimimus have already awaken from their slumber, however, there was one dinosaur in particular that was awake, and was anything but small.

The ground shook with each step, as a massive carnivore made it's way through the forest, the smaller dinosaurs frantically ran as the creature was getting closer.

Although, the tyrant paid no mind to the scurrying dinosaurs as it had bigger problems to deal with.

The creature in question, was an adult tyrannosaurus rex, a male, he had green covering his body, black stripes on his back, and black markings on his head, a lighter shape of green on his underbelly, and two bright yellow eyes.

This tyrannosaurus was no random one, he was the son of one of Isla Nublar's most feared dinosaurs, a t-rex named 'Terry' the same t-rex that terrorized Jurassic Park once he escaped.

However, at the moment Terry's son, Junior, isn't interested in hunting, but he had a bigger problem on his mind considering what happened during the night before.

He was just out on an evening hunt, he wanted to get something to feed his family once they woke up so he wouldn't need to hunt so early in the morning he actually preferred hunting at night most of the time.

While on that hunt, he managed to track down a small group of ouranosaurus, they were hadrosaurs who had sails on their back, to smaller dinosaurs such as raptors, taking on one of these without a pack can be difficult, but for a t-rex it's barely an inconvenience, the only problem they would really have if they hunted down ouranosaurus is if they escape since they're faster than t-rexes.

All he expected was a normal night hunt, nothing more nothing less, he'll just go hunt down a random dinosaur big enough to feed his family, that's all he really expected but something else happened that night that made Junior think that maybe staying in this forest is a bad idea.

He already had an unexpected encounter with his arch rival Smaug, Isla Sorna's spinosaurus and the first dinosaur that ever made Junior back down from a fight.

Back in 2001 when Junior still young and arrogant, he ran into Smaug while chasing a group of humans led by doctor Alan Grant, when he saw the spined behemoth he challenge him to a fight, and he wasn't doing too bad either, until Smaug got a hold of his neck, thankfully he was able to escape with his life by wriggling his way out of Smaug's grip, but he never faced off against him again.

Ever since then he has tried to discipline himself, because even now he thinks that he was quite foolish to take on an apex predator like a spinosaurus, one of if not the biggest carnivorous dinosaur on the planet, especially since at the time, he was a teenager.

But part of him still wants to settle the score but even he knows it's very likely he won't survive, he has fought other dinosaurs of his size but it's usually just so he can take the prey item that his opponent was in possession of, he himself has never actually killed a large scale theropod apart from allosaurus, and even then they aren't much of a threat if they're on their own.

This is the main reason he avoided fighting Smaug when he met up with him again, sure he's a lot bigger now and more experienced but even in his adulthood he still fears Smaug, especially since he probably would've died had he not backed down from their previous encounter.

Originally, Junior left this place because of the fact Smaug was in here, he feared that one of his family members, specifically his children, would get killed by Smaug, especially his eldest son who he can tell is just as arrogant as his father once was.
