Parenthood Part 2: First Hunt

An alarm started blaring as an indicator that there was an emergency, but what kind exactly? What had happened that activated the alarm? It was surely a surprise to be sure

BAM! BAM! BAM!

one of the dinosaurs started bashing against their paddock, this was the first time that this has happened, none of them have tried to escape this place before but this is the first instance of a dinosaur trying to figure out a way out of it's paddock

The dinosaur in question was no other than the largest and fiercest of them all, Genesis the giganotosaurus

It was quite unusual for him to do this, normally he'd just stay in his paddock minding his own business but for some odd reason he decided to try and escape

Genesis reeled back and prepared to charge at the wall, it had already been damaged before, and now he was going to cause even more damage, maybe even enough to break the wall

The giant southern lizard roared and charged at the wall and when he did his head had hit it and caused even more damage and a hole was beginning to form from the part that Genesis had bashed earlier

At this point he was getting desperate and frustrated, the main reason he wanted to escape is so that he cannot be confined anymore, he wants to get away from this place so that when he does there won't be anybody to stop him, granted he doesn't know much about the world in general but what he did know is that he was one of the biggest carnivores to walk the planet, only rivaled by t-rex spinosaurus and relatives of his species so it may not be much of a challenge for him to take on other dinosaurs his size

Daniel started panicking, and ran towards a door that led straight into Genesis' paddock, and he was determined to stop Genesis from leaving because if he gets out, somebody might find out about the fact that other companies are making dinosaurs, because InGen's list has been revealed to the world and there was no giga listed on it so if there was somebody who saw Genesis they might assume that he's not from InGen

"That bastard, I knew it was only a matter of time before he started acting out like this" Daniel thought as he kept running, and he was holding a tranq gun with him with darts that were designed specifically to sedate big predators

While Daniel was running, he saw Henry in the hallway and even Henry was wondering what was going on since he was actually busy studying Nemesis when this happened

"Mr. Espinoza, what is going on?" Herny asked, trying to find out what it was that activated the alarm

Daniel stopped to tell Henry about the situation while also loading up his gun with the darts

"Firstly, call me Daniel, nobody calls me that, secondly, it's that maniac Genesis, he's trying to break down a wall so he can escape, heh, like hell will I let him do that" Daniel chuckled as he kept running

Henry was in shock, he had been observing the brute for some time but didn't know he actually wanted to get out but Henry's question was, why? He wasn't really treated that horribly, sure he was tranqed a lot because of his behavior but nobody really did anything bad to him here

As Daniel kept running he could hear the booming roar of Genesis blare out while he was still trying to escape

When Daniel got to the door he stopped to enter a passcode to open it and when he did it opened up and he came face-to-face with his rival

there in front of him was the behemoth that was Genesis, Daniel had never been this close before, usually he would go someplace high but because he was in a rush he decided to go into the paddock instead
